This is a nice clean old multi-size adjustable hollow auger, and includes the adjustable depth stop clamp, and an adjustable cutter. This is the earlier E.C. Stearns patented model, although their name stamp is somewhat filled in with old black Japanning, and it does match others I have had that were marked Sterns. This is a good quality sizing tool with an eight position adjustable guide, a good sharp cutter with plenty of length, about 60% of the original Japanning intact, no rust or pitting, no cracks, good hardware, all threads are in great shape. A nice clean woodworking tool overall, ready to use! |
