A pair of composition clip-on bird Christmas or seasonal ornaments made of a plaster or clay-like material. They look like plump chickadees to me, with light brown heads and wing feathers and off-white underbellies. Their beaks are dark brown and they have round black bead eyes. The clips are solid brass and unmarked. I don't know when or where they were made but the birds are definitely vintage. The textured feathers and bodies have a couple of minor nicks and some light soiling from age and handling, nothing noticeable. Each chickadee is about 2-3/4 inches long by 2 inches high.
