Circa: 1939 Country of Origin: Czech Rep. Manufacturer: Pre War Czechoslovakian Import
A pair of pretty 5-sided star-in-pentagon shape wire beaded glass Christmas ornaments from Czechoslovakia. They may be from the 1950s, or as early as the 1930s. They're about 2-3/4 inches high, not including the blue straw bead hangers. White glass straw or tube beads form the sides. The centers consist of 5 mercury silvered carrot shape ribbed beads with round ball heads (one piece) forming the star or flower. There are two of these stars, with a round chartreuse glass bead at the center to give them dimension. There's some minor paint wear to the pink beads, otherwise the ornaments are in excellent vintage condition with no broken or missing beads and no loose wires. Price is for the pair.
