Two coffee or tea cup and saucer sets in the popular hand painted Franciscan Apple pattern, produced in the USA by Gladding McBean beginning in 1940. The cups hold 8 ounces to the rim and are 2-3/4" high by 3-1/2 inches diameter with 6 inch saucers. The cups are marked with the flying F logo, the saucers have the 1960s TV screen mark. Despite the different marks, the painted decorations and the earthenware glaze and color are a perfect match between cups and saucers. Both sets are in excellent condition with no damage. Price is for the pair.
