In the 50s, TV had maybe from 6 to 13 channels depending on the location in the US. That amount would be unusual. Many people wanted more so they would buy this converter to be able to get more channels. This converter is still in the original box with operation manual and the receipt dated 09-14-59 when it was purchase. It does turn on the fuses light up so I think it works. Converter is in excellent condition. |
