These beautiful silk postcards were sent home to England from the front. Their beauty was a poignant contrast to the horror of the trenches. This one is from early in the war. It has a pocket under the flags that still holds the themed calling card printed with "Souvenir De Glorieuse Memoire 1914-1915. Best Wishes for a Happy Future." Postcard size 3.5 x 5.5. Very good condition.
