Great pair of Mid Century Modern tile panels - one shows of very hip young woman sitting on the railing of ship's deck. She's wearing a bright green floppy hat with a flower, a pair of bell bottom pants with bright orange spots, and a cute sexy top. The other tile shows a -cool young dude- wearing typical beat up clothes of a 60's rocker. His guitar is slung down in that way cool position!
Each tile measures 8 inches high x 4 inches wide. Done on French tile blanks, these were both signed by the artist R. Leduc and painted in Vallauris. The glazes pool up nicely on the tile creating a slightly raised effect. There are three extremely small shallow side nicks on the tiles - generally they are in very nice condition. ( T1130J )
