Made in 1912, by Wedgwood, England, this is a calendar tile for the year of 1912. Done in brown transfer. The scene is of The Cunard Line Dock (New ) Boston. It also says "800 feet long 35 feet depth at mean low tide, and same depth of water to the ocean at full tide. Steamship Franconia entering dock. B & A.R.R. million bushel elevator in background". B&ARR stands for the Boston and Albany Railroad NYC Lines - this is on the building in the background. One original mounting hole. Measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/8". Front side near hole glaze impurity, minor edge nips. The calendar side says "Jones McDuffee & Stratton Crockery China & Glass Merchants, 33 Franklin St. Boston USA. (#T-1088)
