Manufacturer: Kensington Art Tile
Lovely cream color majolica glaze on this antique stove tile. The central design is that of a woman, facing left, and wearing a scarf or bonnet over and around her head. A truly unusual manufacturer and design. The company was only in business from 1885 - 1893. The tile measures 3 1/8 inches in diameter - across the back of the tile. Impressed Kensington Art Tile mark on the back. Minor glaze wear to the inside and outside rims - the central profile shows beautifully. (Small005)
