This is a Parrot tile done by Desert House Crafts of Tucson Arizona. The Parrot tile is part of the Mimbres series put out by Desert House. The tile is 6 inches square and the copper frame is 9-1/2 inches square. The back is stamped Desert House Crafts Tucson, Arizona. This piece dates to the early 1950's. In their screen printed catalog Done by; Rillito Studios this is design A-5. The piece for sale is facing right, in the catalog the example is facing left.
