Vintage American Bisque butter churn cookie jar. Very cute cookie jar with incised USA mark on it and wedged bottom. This is being sold as a collectible display item only because I did not make it and I don't know if it was made with anything harmful in it. It is shown in the book. No chips or cracks but has some minor flaws: it needs some paint touch up on the red flowers; and has some interior bottom discoloration. The top rim has a paint miss, (it is glazed over, but the brown paint is missing, see photo #4). It stands 11 inches tall. The books on cookie jars say its okay to touch up cold painted jars as long as you use the same colors that were used originally. 8/14
