Manufacturer: Vintage Cookie Cutters
This is an antique or vintage tin cookie cutter likely from the 1920s or earlier, although we don't know the age for certain. It is in the shape of a 5 pointed star, with very tall straight flat sides, sitting about 1 5/8 inches in height on a table. We believe these old tin cutters with taller sides are older than those made with the wooden handles on top. Given the tall sides, this also could have been made to be a biscuit or other pastry cutter. It measures about 3 inches in greatest width or length (from one horizontal star point across to the opposing point). To support that this is a tin piece, not an aluminum one, a magnet does stick to this cookie cutter (magnets won't stick to aluminum).

Very nice overall antique or vintage condition, believable of its age, with expected use/age/wear. There are no chips or cracks. We do see one slight bend or dent that you see only when looking from the side (you don't see this in a top view), a horizontal line on one side edge not far from the bottom edge. This may have been stored on top of something that put a line dent here, which also causes the bottom edge here to look curved rather than straight when viewed from the underside, but still not bad. This piece has an overall light to medium tarnished look and tarnishing (not an overall dark look), with tarnished spotting throughout. As expected there is use wear such as scratches, rubbed spots, yellowish spots/spots of discoloration, some remains from a former price sticker, and other general wear.

Fun cookie cutter that would make a nice addition to any cookie cutter or baking utensil collection or an overall collection of kitchen utensils. A crafty person could also string wire through this cutter and hang this as an ornament on a Christmas tree as a fun addition.

Please note that we have other cookie cutters and many other kitchen items listed separately for sale. If you wish to purchase more than one, please e-mail us before placing the order since the shipping information has been inputted for a purchase of just one and will not calculate the savings you would get when purchasing more than one shipped together in the same package (we will need to handle this for you).
