Beautiful unique antique English porcelain jar. Imari design. Very striking jar. Unusual size; possibly for sardines or crackers. The rim and bottom of jar are clearly marked with an English Flag and crown symbol, H.R.S. & Co., 0365; the silverplate rim has incised Flag and crown, EPNS, H.R.S. & Co. I could not find any information on this company; and could only find one item made by it which is a mustard jar listed on another site. This is a beautiful little jar standing only 2.75 tall without lid on or 4 inches tall with lid on. It does have some crazing and spidering on the interior bottom and exterior bottom of jar. The perfect gift for the person who collects unique porcelain biscuit, cracker, or sardine jars. 11/14
