This is a nice set of tools for hand sharpening your crosscut, or rip saws, and perhaps other vintage or antique tools! It includes the cast iron file handle with the adjustable yoke with the thumbscrew design, with hold most any type of file that has the tang on it in place. Included is three different type files, a Simonds brand file in place in the handle in the pictures, a medium size triangle shape for crosscut hand-saws, and an unmarked small size triangle shape, last the half round 6" bastard file made by TRW SERVICE LINE, and appears new as does the others. There is a plastic case from the TRW file. The file handle is marked in cast lettering "MADE IN U.S.A." but no maker's name, in very good condition with about 99% black paint intact on the handle section, the yoke and thumbscrew are nickel plated or a nickel steel. No cracks, or damage, no rust, on the iron handle or steel files, all ready to use. The files included are most likely newer files, in sizes commonly used for filing the saw teeth. All the files are made in U.S.A., either Simonds, TRW brand or Nicholson we believe. They are in very good to new condition.
