Antique Kreamer tin melon mold. c:late 19th, early 20th C. Once used for puddings and ice cream; called a melon mold because of the shape of it. Shown in L. Franklin's book on kitchen collectibles, pg. 256. Had 3 in various sizes, this is the only one left. This is one is marked on bottom: Kreamer 2 1/2. It is about 4.75 tall x 7 long x 5.5 wide; handles on both ends; opens fine; interior is much brighter than exterior. This item is being sold as a collectible display item and not for food use since I did not manufacture it and I don't know what it was made with. By purchasing it, you assume all and all risk if you decide to actually use it for anything other than display purposes.
