More Than McCoy

Circa: 1903
Manufacturer: Duncan & Miller
Antique toothpick holder. I believe this was made by Duncan & Miller, shown on pg. 64 of the book on toothpick holders although the photo in the book is not all that clear. It glows yellow under black light and is 2.5 tall. Tarentum Glass also made this pattern. It has some left over gold residue around top triangle areas, but most of it has worn off. The Tarentum glass toothpick had hobnails within the diamond shape and the DC toothpick has diamonds within the diamonds. On this toothpick it looks more like little diamond shaped hobnails within the larger diamond area, but I could be wrong. Either way, they were both made in 1903; way over 100 years old now! A great oldie for your collection. 4/16
