Manufacturer: Red Wing
Antique spatterware bowl. Being sold as a collectible display item, not for food use as it is antique and is probably not up to today's standards for safe food or liquid usage or storage. Very confident this is early Red Wing, but it is not marked. I came across a pitcher and different shaped bowl with same coloring in one of the old RW books. This bowl has a nice ribbed design which is hard to detect due to the spatter design. The bottom has some spider lines, (I do not feel anything with my fingernail so they are not hairlines, just deep crazing). Interior has some visible age/wear/discoloration, but no chips. It is 8.25 wide x 5 tall. Age est: 1800's-early 1900's. 5/11s#
