Great Expectations Antiques

Circa: early 1900's
Condition: Good++
Manufacturer: Light stamp but marked
This is a good example of an English strap handled carpenter's hammer marked Sheffield and the maker's name, but the stamp is very small and hard to read completely. What I can read is ....welly. The head is well attached to the hardwood handle. There is a past owner's initials on one side of the of the handle. The overall length is 12" and weighs 13 ounces. The is some wear on the claws mostly, but still usable after all these years!
