This set of old Japan red clay pitchers has a raised rooster crowing on a roof top. He is then hand painted on each pitcher. It is overall glazed in a iridescent brown which helps to "pop" the cold
paint. The larger is marked syrup. It stands 5 3/4" tall by 4 3/4" wide. The smaller is marked
Cream, I think. It is 4" tall by 3 3/4" wide. Both are in excellent condition. Smaller does show
wear to the writing only.
