Antique The Holy Bible Oxford with maps leather bound gold gild page ends. The Holy Bible Old and New Testaments Translated out of the original tongues and with the former translations diligently compared and revised by his Majesty's social command. Appointed to be read in churches. Oxford Printed at the University Press. London, Henry Frowde, Oxford University Press Warehouse, Amen Corner.
The front has an article that reads, Mrs. John Ruiter received the news of the death of her son, Jacob E. Lampman, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Inscribed in ink To Wilbur, Lampman From Grand'Ma, July 4th 1928. This bible is undated and may be earlier then 1928 and perhaps once belonged to the the late father, and the grandmother gave to Wibur. I am not sure, just a guess. The first few pages and map is loose from binding. The remainder of bible intact. There is some slight leather wear and a tear at top front binding area. See pictures.
