This large antique paper scrap and tinsel Christmas ornament depicts a keyhole like scene of a green coat Victorian Santa with a little girl peeking around a candle-lit Christmas tree. The irregular shaped scrap is framed in loops of wired gold feather tinsel, resulting in a large butterfly shape ornament about 8 inches long by 6-1/2" wide. The embossed scrap has lots of tiny points and corners at the edges, resulting in some minor edge tears over the years but there is no damage to the main image.
