This is an antique slide with 1895 engraved on the front. I am not certain but I believe it is for a sash or a belt. The slide is not marked as to content but appears to be sterling silver. The slide measures 2-3/8 inches by 1/2 of an inch. It weighs 6.2 grams. The slide is in very good condition but does have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing.
