This is an offering for a rarely seen Bauer Pottery gloss white Fred Johnson wheel thrown vase measuring 4-3/4" high with hand decorated fruit design and motto. I have had about 200 Fred Johnson vases and have seen well over 1,000 more in person and this is the 1st example I have seen that made it to the decorating room! The shape is shown in the Chipman Bauer book on pages 69-70 and the decoration on pages 150-152. There is a 2-1/2" crack that comes off of a small production flaw on the rim and there is a chip, mostly on the inside of the rim. Shipping for this fine addition to your collection is $9.95.
