Antique Junction

Interesting Typed Booklet providing a Brief History of Bloomingdale, Ohio (originally called Bloomfield, Ohio). Located between Cadiz and Steubenville in Jefferson Co. Prepared by Mrs. George Copeland with assistance by Mrs. Daisy Smith and Mr. Albert Blackburn recognized it's 150 Years (1816-1966). This typed up Booklet contains 14 pages. Pages 1-5 provide history, page 6 the official Sesqui-Centennial Observance as August 13, 1966. Here, I found a part of the Wintersville Citizen dated 8/11//1966 showing some pictures of early Bloomingdale. The last pages are dedicated to the history of the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches in Bloomingdale. Even providing a list of former Pastors. Great interest for anyone with ties to this area.
