Brown glazed horseshoe shaped mold. (numbered). Very attractive gloss brown glazed horseshoe shaped mold made with red clay, (redware?). It looks like something from the 1960's judging by the color, but not sure, it could be older, but is not an antique mold. Pretty certain it is German. Very attractive and very well made, and has a number under the glaze near the eyelet: 939-19. The other brown glazed turkshead mold I had for sale was numbered in the same way, in the same spot, so these must have been made by the same company. No chips or cracks and has an eyelet for hanging. It is 7 long x 6.25 wide. The exterior side of this mold has a raised scrolly design with 4 tiny dry round feet. Use it or just dislay it!
