Offering this top quality stone/wood carving mallet.  It's weighs in at 2.0 pounds and is very well made.  The burl hardwood is very dense with grains going in several directions.  There is a few minor grain separations on the outside surfaces, but very solid.  A few small voided areas or small indentation, much like you might expect from an antique mallet.  The handle is very nice, no cracks, fits very solid and measures about 14" long overall.  It still hours of good used left in this amazing antique mallet.  Can be used for wood carving or chisel work also.  A very solid tool!
