This is most likely a museum shop item, since it's marked "CAMPUS MARTIUS MARIETTA OHIO" which is now, and has been for a number of years, a museum. The maker of the trivet is unknown to me, but there are addition marks on the back "9-2 TRIVET V. M." that may indicate the maker or designer. A nicely designed iron trivet, in good condition with some remains of black paint on the back side mostly.
