Copperton Lane Antiques & Collectibles

Circa: 1929
Country of Origin: US
Manufacturer: Connecticut Foundry
A single vintage cast iron bookend depicting the classic End of Trail Native American scene of an Indian brave slumped over on his horse. The bookend was made by Connecticut Foundry and is dated 1929. It has a muted bronze finish. It measures 5-1/2 inches high by 5" wide and is in very good condition with no damage. The back is marked "The Last Trail, Copr. 1929" along with the foundry's logo, an encircled C in diamond. The photos have been lightened a bit to better show the detail, and the flash created a shiny effect which is not prominent in the actual bookend.
