Copperton Lane Antiques & Collectibles

Circa: 1924
Country of Origin: US
Manufacturer: Queen
A larger 12-piece Queen brand manicure set from the 1920s. The folding case is blue leather lined in royal blue silk with silk jacquard flaps and pocket. The woven blue and white ribbon is also silk. There are two non-original tools in French Ivory celluloid - a shoe button hook and the pick with the pusher end (not sure what it's called). The all-metal blackhead tool with spear tip is original, I've seen the exact same item in other Queen kits. The other implements are layered two-tone apple juice Bakelite and marbled yellow celluloid. There's a buffer, a button hook, a shoe horn, and several nail tools I can't name. One item is a handle only, whatever the metal part was is missing.

The shoe horn has a crack to the solid colored side which does not go all the way through (picture number 7). One of the small flat nail tools has the same issue with two cracks. Everything else, including the case, is clean and in very good condition. There are no tears or holes to the case or silk fabric.
