The Southwest Redwingers (SWRW) Club, founded in 1982, is an organization which promotes the collecting of Red Wing and American pottery. The SWRW Club is a member of the Red Wing Collectors Society, Inc., which was founded in 1977 and has members in 50 states plus Canada. Membership is open to all persons interested in collecting American pottery and stoneware. The highlights of our local Arizona Chapter are our educational monthly meetings, guest speakers, annual picnics, social events, Christmas dinner and party, and other special events. A special commemorative piece is made each year for our SWRW. These highly sought after pieces are made in limited quantity and are available only to club members. The SWRW also publishes a monthly newsletter, "ON THE WING" (except for June, July and August, as there are no club meetings during those months). Each issue contains feature articles, information on new finds in collecting, pictures of its members with their raffle prizes or a brag piece from previous meetings, a place for ads, listings of local and out of town antique shows and more. Membership fee to the Southwest Redwingers Club is $12.00 per year, one membership per person. Contact the Southwest Redwingers Membership Chairperson. You will be glad you did!
