The Fan Association of North America (FANA) is a non-profit membership organization that welcomes anyone with an interest in hand fans. It’s annual meeting is the opportunity for all fan enthusiasts to meet for workshops, lectures, a fan sale, a fun charity auction, and sharing of hand fans.
FANA sponsors grants related to expanding knowledge about fans. For almost 40 years it has provided enhanced knowledge for individuals, museums, the public, and a variety of groups with special interests. Benefits of membership include newsletters, two magazines a year, and an archive of fan-related materials available to members.
