Merry Wanderer Hummel Doll Danbury Mint 1990
Merry Wanderer Hummel Doll Danbury Mint 1990. The box is marked 1990. The back of head is marked 1989.
Goebel Hummel, Merry Wanderer Boy Doll, Danbury Mint M. I. Hummel, Goebel 1990 Comes with Original Box and Display Instructions and Certificate of Ownership with the serial number B6165. This large 13 inch Tall Doll titled The Merry Wanderer doll was produced exclusively for the Danbury Mint by the artisans of W. Goebel Porzellanfbrik of Bavaria, West Germany. Each doll in the collection is based on a popular M. I. Hummel figurine.
This charming doll was crafted of fine hand painted ceramic, the same ceramic used for the figurines. The head, arms, and lower legs are composed of ceramic and the body is made of cloth. His arms and legs are still wrapped in bubble wrap with his carry case, umbrella and shoes still in plastic and his original hat not in plastic, so I do not think he has ever been out of his box. The colors, characteristic of a genuine Hummel, are burnt orange, bright orange, brown, white, tan, and black. Much detail has gone into making the hand tailored garments and accessories, including accessory umbrella and leather strapped traveling bag with wood dowel trim, and leather shoes. Attached to his right arm is a gold Goebel hang tag and his neck is incised Hummel 1989

Porcelain Half Doll Germany 8031
Porcelain Half Doll marked Germany 8031. She is a lovely, vintage half doll hand painted to be dressed in a lovely dress with long black hair and holding her fan. She is 3 3/4 inches high with wonderful colors and detail. A beautiful half doll just as found No chips No Cracks No Crazing. Maker unknown besides a lovely doll she could be made into a fabulous pin cushion.
