Mama Pig with Baby Piggy at Apron Cookie Jar Taiwan
Mama Pig with Baby Piggy at Apron Cookie Jar, marked on bottom Taiwan.
Height 11 1/2 inch X Length 9 1/2 inch X Width 7 inch at widest points.
No Chips or crazing. But, I get picky so here is what I see. This jar has a manufacturing crack inside and out at the area of where Baby Piggy is at Mama Piggy's Apron. The crack is filled with paint and glaze, but you can see and feel it. It does not photograph close up, but does show in picture on bottom of bottom part of jar, as described. There is paint wear on arms and bow. There is flicks around rim of bottom part of Jar. There is paint wear on one foot and around hem of dress area in a few spots as seen in pictures. The lid does not have any chips, cracks or crazing but, does have a paint flick on back ruffle. The head fits slightly off from center and is loose. This awesome cookie jar is in excellent condition for age and use. Truly a rare find.

No chips or cracks on the lid, but does have mild crazing and manufacturing divits in the clay on rim from the making both with and without the glaze. Again from the making and not damaged. The Bottom half of jar does not have any chips or cracks, but does have crazing. Colors are vibrant.

Chicken Cookie Jar Atlantic Mold Vintage circa 1970s. Marked Atlantic Mold on bottom of bottom half of jar.
The lid does not have any chips, cracks or crazing. Does have some paint rubs or misses that are very faint on the bottom side brown area that rest on top of the bottom half of jar. See pictures. The paint is in excellent condition near mint except for the bottom side as aforementioned The red and eyes in excellent condition as seen in pictures. The bottom half of this jar does not have any chips, cracks or crazing, but does have paint miss or rubs on both sides of the upper wings and near the bottom side edge see pictures.

California Originals Sitting Turtle Cookie Jar with Flowers. Over all the paint on this jar is in excellent condition. Cold paint was painted on after the glaze in the manufacturing and easily washed off. In other words to have a 1960s cold painted jar with practically all the original paint remaining on it, is very good.

No chips, cracks or crazing from damage or use. Does have a manufacturing chip on the lid rim under the paint and glaze as well as paint and glaze miss on the bottom and a spot on the bottom side. Over all near mint condition.

Vintage Duck Cookie Jar Italy not the modern Lefton
Vintage Duck Cookie Jar Italy not the modern Lefton Italy Cookie Jar See flowers. Marked Italy.
Note there is a more Modern similar duck cookie jar titled Lefton duck cookie jar similar in appearance, but slightly larger and painted differently in colors and types of flowers. Do not confuse this jar with the Lefton jar. This particular jar is more vintage smaller and much heavier then the Lefton. This jar is clearly marked Italy. Best guess circa 1960s.
No chips cracks or crazing. Note does have some manufacturing issues that seems like a lot, just describing as actual. Since this is manufactured this way it is over all in near mint condition. The issues are as follows. The lid has pin hole dots that are dot size of paint missing, under the paint flick on rim, a few spots where the glaze is rough kind of scratchy feeling on inside rim of lid, tail and beak. The bottom of jar rim has some paint misses or flicks, and glaze mold spurs, and the inside underside of rim mold marks are not uniform 100%, from removing from the mold it was made in before the hand painting and glaze process. The Web Foot showing in the face on beak picture with the big orange or burning fire orange fire flower the web to the right in picture the web has a chip under the paint and glaze and the paint and glaze has a rough feeling.
