John Round & Sons Victorian Silver Pastry/Brides Basket This stunning detailed silver basket was made by John Round & Sons of England. The mark puts this in the 1870's to 1890's era. This piece features exquisite reticulated lattice and floral design with solid medallions surrounded by scroll work.

The basket is not marked sterling, but not marked plate either. I am not able to find any wear marks, but my guess is that this is very fine plate.

The basket measures 11 1/2" wide and stands 4" high. It is free of any dents or dings, there are some surface scratches.
