15348

Jeannette Iridescent Iris Herringbone 2 Footed Water Tumblers A pair of Mid Century iridescent marigold footed water tumblers in the Iris and Herringbone pattern by Jeannette Glass. They're just over 6 inches tall and although they're considered 8 ounce tumblers in the glass books, they actually hold 10 ounces to the rim.

As you can see, there is quite a difference in color intensity between the two glasses. It's not that one is worn or faded, it's just that the other has such a heavy application of color. Both tumblers are free of scratches, damage, and cloudiness. Price is for the pair. Photos show both sides.

16369

Libbey Set Patriotic Stars and Stripes Glass Tumblers in Caddy A set of eight Libbey glass tumblers in a wire carry caddy, patriotically decorated with the red, white, and blue stars and stripes of the American flag. I remember seeing these tumblers as a teenager around the 1976 Bicentennial. They may have been a promotional item.

The tumblers are 6-1/2 inches tall by just under 3" diameter at the rims and hold 16 ounces. All are in excellent condition with no damage and bright, unfaded graphics. The Mid Century brass holder or caddy measures 13-1/4 by 8 inches and is about 9-1/2" high to the top of the coiled handle.

Pair Corelle Snowflake Blue Garland Glass Tumblers Pyrex Go-Withs Two glass drinking tumblers in the Snowflake Blue or Snowflake Blue Garland pattern. They're go-withs to the 1970s Corning Pyrex and Corelle dinnerware and ovenware lines, but were made by the James Bradley company in 1973 (marked in tiny print at the bottom of the white panel).

The glasses are just over 5-1/2" high and hold 12 ounces to the rims. One has a couple of short, shallow scratches to the glass near the rim, otherwise they're in very good vintage condition.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 13677: Dixie Dogwood 72 Ounce Glass Pitcher

Click for more detail...

13677

Dixie Dogwood 72 Ounce Glass Pitcher This scarce Gay Fad painted glass pitcher was made as a go-with to match the Mid Century Joni Dixie Dogwood dinnerware pattern. It's 9-1/4 inches tall by 7-1/4" wide from ice lip spout to handle and comfortable holds 72 ounces (2 quarts plus 2 cups). It has the classic single chartreuse Dixie Dogwood flower hand painted on the front and is in excellent, crystal clear condition with no chips, fleabites, cloudiness, or other issues.

Blue Ridge Southern Potteries produced a very similar pattern called Southern Dogwood which can easily be mixed and matched with Dixie Dogwood by Joni (believed to have been made by Stetson China). This glass pitcher is a perfect go-with to either dinnerware pattern.

They're 3-1/2 inches high by 3-1/4" across the rims with D shape handles and flared bodies. All four are marked Fire King Oven Ware and are in excellent vintage condition, still glossy with no damage. Because they were photographed against a dark background, they appear discolored or stained but they are not.
