Click for more detail...

16327

Copper 3 Quart Covered Saucepan This long-handled copper saucepan has a substantial, sturdy weight and holds 3 quarts to the rim. It isn't marked but was likely made in Portugal in the 1970s, possibly late 1960s. The pot measures 8 inches diameter across the rim by 4 inches deep. It has a nearly 8 inch long cast brass handle and matching brass lid handle.

The interior stainless lining is very worn - you'll want to have it relined, or use it only for cooking non-acidic food. Tomatoes, vinegar, or citrus will react with the copper. The copper exterior has some normal light marks from use and storage, nothing serious. The lid finish is a bit trashed with dark corrosion spots from long-term moisture exposure.

16480

Revere Ware Copper Clad Stainless 7 Inch Covered Skillet This 7-1/4 inch diameter by 1-3/4 inch deep Revere Ware copper bottom stainless steel skillet is shined to a mirror-bright finish inside and out. The skillet was made in the USA in Revere's Clinton Illinois plant and is dated 1993.

There are no dents, dings, or utensil marks and the pan sits flat with no rocking. The lid fits perfectly but appears older than the skillet with some age dryness to the phenolic finial, storage scuffs, and spots of salt pitting on the inside. The skillet has a nice hefty weight to it for its small size.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 11409-2: Belmont 1940s Enamel Graniteware Canning Kettle

Click for more detail...

11409-2

Belmont 1940s Enamel Graniteware Canning Kettle A large cold pack canning kettle in navy blue speckled graniteware or porcelain enamel ware with red trim by Belmont. It holds at least 16 quarts and measures 13-1/2 inches diameter not including the handles by 9 inches high. Most of the original paper label is still attached to the front. The Belmont Stamping & Enameling Company was dissolved in 1952, so the canner is probably from the 1940s or earlier.

The original metal canning rack is inside. The rack has some light rust. There are several small chips to the enamel, mostly to the lid and rim. I could feel only one chip inside, I think the rust marks in the bottom are from the rack. This huge pot has great coloring and displays well.

15628

Four Sizes Corning Blue Cornflower Casseroles Bakers A mixed assortment of four 1960s Corning Ware blue Cornflower baking or casserole dishes, plus a lid that fits two of them. The largest is the P-10-B 10 inch, just over 2 inches deep with a 1-3/4 quart capacity. The smallest is the P-41 Petite Pan, 5" diameter by 1-1/2 deep (interior measurements not including handles). The two other bakers share the same glass lid. Both are 7 inch first generation (earliest Corning Ware) with raised Pyroceram embossed marks on the bottoms. The number C-11 one quart is a little over 2" deep, the 1-1/2 quart number C-10 dish is 2-3/4" deep.

The two 7 inch dishes are from the late 1950s and have some utensil marks in the bottoms. The other two are spotless. None of the five pieces have any damage or stains, and all are very clean. The last picture shows a glare spot to the glass lid - it's just a reflection.

Click for more detail...

13449

1940s Revere Ware Copper Clad 4 Quart Pressure Cooker This is the hard to find pressure cooker in the Revere Ware stainless steel, copper bottom cookware line from the late 1940s to early 1950s. Solid and substantial in weight, it holds 4 quarts to the rim and measures 8-1/4" diameter by about 5-1/2 inches deep without the lid. My Mom used hers as a saucepan more often than a pressure cooker - it's large size and super sturdy quality makes it an excellent cooking pot.

The rubber gasket is present and in excellent condition with no nicks, dryness, or brittleness. The interior of the pot is clean and shiny. The copper bottom needs a quick polish but there is no burnt-on cooking residue. The exterior has some normal light scuffs and scratches from use and storage. The steel fortified Bakelite handles have no chips or cracks. The pot sits perfectly flat. The rainbow effect to the sides of the pot must be reflections, I don't see it as I look at the pressure cooker now.

16527

Revere Ware Copper Bottom 6 Quart Dutch Oven Stock Pot This vintage Revere Ware copper clad stainless steel covered pot was called a covered sauce pot in their 1950s literature, though it's often referred to as a stockpot or Dutch oven. It holds six quarts and measures 10-1/4 inches diameter by 4-3/4" deep. The pot sits flat and is clean and polished. There are some fine, light marks in the bottom interior from stirring and cleaning, and a very shallow, short crease ding the bottom edge (about 2 o'clock position in the third picture). Made in USA in Revere's Clinton Illinois plant and dated 1978.

Click for more detail...

16443

Revere Copper Bottom 2 Quart Saucepan Plus Boiler Insert This Mid Century Revere Ware copper clad stainless steel 2 quart covered saucepan can be dated between 1950 and 1968, based on the Process Patent Clinton plant mark on the bottom. It measures 7-1/4" diameter by 3-1/2 inches deep and comes with its original lid. Also included is a stainless Revere handled double boiler insert that fits the pan but was probably made in the 1970s or 1980s. The insert bottom is kind of warped as if someone tried to use it as a hammer, but since it sits inside another pan filled with boiling water rather than directly on the stovetop, it doesn't affect cooking performance. The saucepan is clean and shiny with typical storage marks to the exterior and minor stovetop scuffing on the bottom. One handle screw is missing, but the handle is still tight and secure.

14982

Corning GE Microwave Brown N Sear Casserole Dish This 1970s Corning Ware covered microwave browning dish was a special order from General Electric as a premium when purchasing one of their microwave ovens. What makes it suitable for microwave use is the special coating on the underside which contains embedded metal particles.

The dish comfortably holds one quart, measuring 10-1/2 (including handles) by 8-1/2 by 2-1/4 inches high, not including the clear Pyrex lid. The two non-handled sides are decorated with an EKG style or radio wave logo in blue. The casserole is clean and in perfect condition. The underside lid edge has a little mold seam roughness but no damage.

It sits perfectly flat with no rocking and has a nice hefty weight to it. The interior is bright and shiny with only the type of hair-fine shallow marks from utensil use and cleaning, nothing even approaching a scratch. The copper bottom has been scrubbed clean and polished, but could use a little more to make it really shine. 16476

Pyrex Flameware 1 Qt Double Boiler Upper Pot Insert Plus Lid 6762 A hard to find blue tint Pyrex glass Flame Ware 1 quart replacement insert (top pan) for your double boiler bottom plus the glass lid. It's the 6762 model, produced from 1937 to 1946, after which the company discontinued the one quart size. Capacity is measured by the upper pot, which holds one quart to the bottom of the stainless steel band.

It has a glass handle and detachable snap-off stainless steel band. The pot measures 5 inches high by 5-1/4" diameter across the rim. Length from handle to opposite rim is just under 10-1/2 inches. The original green stamped Flameware logo on the bottom has disappeared due to use and cleaning. Otherwise both the pot and lid are in excellent, very clean condition with no residue, cloudiness, chips, or noticeable scratches. The stainless steel band is also clean with no rust or corrosion.

Revere Ware Copper Clad Stainless 1.5 Quart Covered Saucepan This is a Revere Ware 1-1/2 quart copper clad saucepan with lid, 3-1/4 inches deep by 6-1/4" diameter. The stainless steel finish is spotlessly clean and shiny inside and out with no dings or dents, just some typical stir marks inside. The copper bottom has been recently polished to a bright penny shine. The pan does have a slight rock when you push on one side - you may prefer to use it on a coiled or gas burner rather than a smooth glass cooktop. This is American made Revere Ware, made at their Clinton Illinois plant in 1988.
