16782

Corning Shadow Iris 5 and 3 Qt Covered Casserole Bakers Corning introduced the pretty Shadow Iris pattern in 1986. It was available in their Corelle dinnerware and kitchen accessories line as well as their Corning cookware and baking/serving pieces. These are the two largest size casserole or baking dishes in the Shadow Iris line - 5 quarts or liters (sometimes called a Dutch oven) number A5B, and 3 quart number A3B. The large dish is 10 inches diameter (12 inches across the handles) by 4" deep to the rim. The 3 quart casserole is 8-1/2" diameter, 10-1/4" wide across the handles, and just a shade under 4 inches high to the rim.

Both baking dishes come with their appropriate Pyrex glass lids. There are no chips, flakes, or damage to either the casseroles or the lids. They're super clean with only very faint, minimal marks on the bottoms from use and storage.

Click for more detail...

17264

Corning Ware Blue Dusk 2 Quart Covered Casserole The Blue Dusk Corning Ware pattern was so pretty, it's surprising that it was only made for such a short time, between 1994 and 1997. This is the 2 liter/quart casserole baking dish in Blue Dusk, with delicate bluebell flowers and green leaves decoration on both sides. It's 8-1/2 by 10-1/4 inches across the tab handles by 2-5/8" deep. It looks like it was never used, with glaze and decoration fully intact. There are no stains, scratches, damage, or wear. The glass lid has a smooth, tiny fleabite flake on the inner lip, probably from storage. Otherwise it's crystal clear and in excellent condition.
