The home houses a collection of antique furniture, priceless silver, fine china and rare porcelains. Gardens are maintained the year round with seasonal flowering plants.

More than 6,000 large live alligators -- four times as many as any other collection in the world -- live at the Alligator-Ostrich Farm in St. Augustine, Florida, according to the description on this linen card. Wonder what happened to the ostriches?

In any case, the card has message and address on reverse, with one-cent stamp and 1938 postmark. We see no defects here beyond slightly blunted corners. (t1941)

Here's the famous 'Bahama House' in Key West, Florida. According to the postcard's description, it was built in the Bahamas, then the mortised and pinioned timbers were taken apart and transported in a schooner to be erected in Florida. Legend has it that the parts were floated here a la Noah's Ark!

The Administration Building of Washington Park in Chicago is shown on this great old card. Notice the wonderful old cars parked in front and the beautiful fountain in foreground.

Card is used with 1914 postmark. With VO Hammon Publishing logo on back and #1967 shown at side, the card is in Very Good condition with only slight corner blunting.

KENTUCKY: Two Views U.S. Army Training, Fort Campbell
Here are two views from the Fort Campbell Military Center, Kentucky. First is the Main Post Exchange, offering complete merchandise service to military personnel and dependents. Second is a view of soldiers engaged in rifle bayonet practice at the base.

Both cards have messages and addresses on reverse, with six-cent stamps and 1970 postmarks. We see no defects here beyond slightly blunted corners on the first card; the second has some creases, yet the images are still viewable. (t1924)

Here's a nice reminder of Mardi Gras' beautiful city. The view is of one of the famous iron lace balconies in New Orleans, LA. The hand-hammered wrought iron work was beaten into its present designs by Negro slaves.

The linen card was published by New Orleans News Agency, Inc., and is unused with a divided back. There is no date, but it appears to be from the 1930s-40s. We see no defects here beyond slightly blunted corners. (t2327)
