Show your colors in high style with this vintage RED, WHITE AND BLUE bird brooch. He is fashioned similarly to the Trifari Jellybelly jewelry with a large pear shaped pearl for his middle. His feathers are enameled and trimmed with tiny marcasite like rhinestones at the neck, ankles and wing joints. None are missing. He has a tiny ruby eye and an open beak. The workmanship is terrific and although he is not signed, he certainly ranks up there with the best. He is in a rhodium setting and is in the style of other bird pins from the 1930's-1950's. We generally ship to domestic customers by USPS Priority Mail, so buyer will add $ 3.50 plus applicable insurance.

Pictures don't do justice to the workmanship that went into this sterling silver wire pin. Wire no thicker than a thread was twisted and woven into this pretty floral shape...all by hand, of course. The pin is remarkable sturdy yet soft and pliable. We believe this was made in Germany in the 1950's. the pin is almost 2 3/4" across and is dramatic without the weight of other pieces of this size. Very well made piece of vintage rhinestone jewelry with THE LADIES ORIENTAL SHRINE insignia . The center is set with a crescent moon with 7 stones and a scimitar. The piece is 7/8": square and, unfortunately, not signed. The stones are all prong set with a rhodium-like backing, no loose or discolored ones. Hard to date the piece but is likely between the 1940's and 1960's. Very nice Shriner's collectable.
