Glass Insulator Lamp
What to do with the glass insulators? Why not make a lamp out of them? Glass insulators were used for telephone and telegraph lines starting in 1850. The insulator was used to protect the wooden pole from the electrical current. These came in different styles and color of the glass. This clear glass insulator lamp is 13" tall has an insulator made by the Hemmigray company. The stem is hand pounded copper, and the leather like shade is new. All are in excellent condition.

Glass Hand Painted Shade

Art Deco Bullet or Torpedo Lamps
Wonderful pair of lamps from the 40s called bullet or torpedo lamps. Each lamp is 12" tall and has the matching base. One still has the tubal light bulb. Both are in excellent condition. Yes, they do work, but would suggest to rewire for safety.
