Pencil Drawing and Photo During World War II
This wonderful pair of pictures are a once in a lifetime buy. The pencil portrait was done in 1946 in Olanspo Subic Bay, Philippines where this Navy solder was stationed. The photo was taken at the famous Kato Ballroom in Minn. in the 50s. This ballroom was famous to rock and roll and hosting legends such as Jerry Lee Lewis and Buddy Holly. The same solder is in this photo also. There is a ripe on the top of the portrait, but otherwise everything is in excellent condition. I also have this solder's sewing kit and meal planner since he was a cook on one of the ships.

Forty Eight Star Silk Flag Scarf
This flag scarf had to be before 1958 when Hawaii and Alaska became states. It only has 48 stars. Silk flag is 17" X 12" and in excellent condition.

See many pillow covers in satin, but not in velvet. Great painted pictures of the island, a temple, a person in a kimono, and flowers. Cover is 17" square with yellow tassels. In excellent condition.

64th Fighter Interceptor Squadron Stationery
When I found this wonderful items I had to do some research. Looks like it has never been used, this armed forces stationery is a pack that is given to all military to write home with. This individual one is from the 64th Fighter Interceptor Squadron with the address of Seattle, Washington. In 1941 this tactic group flew with the Northeast Defense Sector, the Cold War, and Vietnam. This pack is full with letter head sheets and back sheets plus all the envelopes you would need with return address of Seattle, Washington. Even the folder is in excellent condition.

Navy Meal Planner, Notebook, and Sewing Kit
This is a great group of military collectables. The notebook has notes on what to make for the Navy and the meal planner tells on what to serve with what. The sewing kit was in the same box so I assumed it went together. I also have a portrait of who I think the solder is. All are in excellent condition.

Black Navy Dress Jacket
Bought this at an estate sale where the gentleman who wore this jacket was a chef in the Navy. Has the navy patch on the left arm and of course the metal buttons. Measurements are: Shoulder 17" and Chest 38". There are some rubbing of material under the arms but otherwise in excellent condition.

Military Group of Buttons and Pins
Not sure the year of this group but has a mixture of patches and buttons. Some I found were the ranking button, infantry branch insignia, ribbon bar, and eagle arrow to name a few. The red patch has some dirt, but otherwise all are in excellent condition.

Three War Stories Give Away
These wonderful little booklets were give a-ways to schools and communities in hopes to increase the amount of people signing up for the war. One booklet is on the army corp, the other the navy, and the other parachutes. These are very hard to find. The army booklet has a fold on the right top of the booklet. All are in excellent condition.
