ANTIQUE VINTAGE GERMAN SILVER MESH PURSE HANDBAG WITH DANGLES ETCHING
This is an antique or vintage mesh purse. The purse is marked G. SILVER which I believe stands for German Silver. The purse has beautiful flowers etched on the frame. There are dangling pieces along the bottom of the purse. The purse measures 6-1/4 inches across the top of the frame. It measures 5 inches long without including the chain handle. The purse is heavy and weighs 178 grams. The mesh is in very good condition with no problems I could find. It appears that there may be one missing dangling piece on the left corner at the bottom of the purse. The purse does have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing. VINTAGE WOMEN'S BLACK SILK PURSE HANDBAG WITH RHINESTONE CLASP
This is a vintage small black silk purse. It has a shell shaped clasp with multicolored rhinestones and an imitation pearl. The bag does not have a tag and I do not know who made it. The outside of the purse has a quilted design and the handle is made of 2 silk cords. The inside is silk and it has a single side pocket. The purse measures 9 inches by 5 inches (without include the handle). The purse is in good condition with no odor that I could smell. VINTAGE ZELL'S FIFTH AVENUE TWO-SIDED COMPACT RHINESTONE PURSE
This is a vintage two-sided compact purse made by Zell's Fifth Avenue. The purse has rhinestones on one side and a snake chain handle. When you open that side, there is a mirror, comb, card holder, powder holder and lipstick case. The back side opens to hold cigarettes. The compact purse measures 4 inches by 3 inches. The only marking I can find is on the powder puff and it is marked Zell's Fifth Avenue. The purse does not appear to have been used. There are two missing rhinestones on the top and some slight wear to the gold tone on the top edge by the rhinestones. The purse is in good condition but may need polishing. VINTAGE GRENOVILLE, FRANCE ENAMEL MARCASITE POWDER COMPACT
This is a vintage compact marked GRENOVILLE, PARIS, FRANCE. The compact has black enamel on the top and bottom. There is an initial N on the front that has marcasites on it. The compact holds the original powder and has the puff. The mirror looks like it has two chips on the edge but they are strictly marks on the mirror and NOT chips. ANTIQUE BOSTONIA GERMAN SILVER SMALL IRIDESCENT GLASS BEADED PURSE
This is a small antique beaded purse. The purse is signed BOSTONIA and GERMAN SILVER. Based on my research, the purse dates to 1906. The purse is made of black thread with iridescent glass beads sewn in a scalloped pattern. The gilded purse frame has Art Nouveau flowers and designs. There is a loop on one side of the frame with a chain attached to it. The purse measures 3 inches long and 3 inches across the bottom. The chain measures 7 inches long as shown. The purse is in good condition with no missing beads that I could find. It has come unsewn from two holes on the top of one side of the purse frame but could easily be repaired. VINTAGE HANS JENSEN DENMARK SILVER HAND HELD MIRROR
This a very beautiful Hans Jensen repousse silver hand held mirror. I do not know if it is sterling silver or silver plated but I believe it is plated. It has a wonderful design of people gathered under a large tree with houses, fences, a dog, a rifle, bench, baskets, etc. The handle has a nicely scrolled Art Nouveau design on both sides. The mirror has a beveled edge. The mirror measures 2-3/4 inches wide and 4-1/2 inches long. It is signed DENMARK along with the Fish or Whale symbol for Hans Jensen at the bottom of the gathering scene on the front. This is a vintage cow hide purse from the 1950's. The purse is not marked that I can find. It is a reddish brown color with cream colored stripes. This is a vintage hand or purse mirror. I cannot find any markings on it. The mirror has a picture of a woman wearing a bandana. She appears to me to be a 1920's or 1930's woman wearing a bandana. This is a vintage purse perfume or snuff bottle. It is engraved with the Greek letters for Delta Pi Epsilon. The bottle is not marked but appears to be either sterling silver or silver plated. This is an antique Victorian or Edwardian reticule mourning purse. It is not marked. The purse is a very, very dark purple with black glass beads. The beads have an iridescence to them. The purse has a drawstring and a black lining. There is a ball on the bottom of the purse but it does not have any tassels. I don't know if it ever had them. The purse measures 7-1/2 inches long without including the ball and 5-1/2 inches wide. The purse is in very good condition and the only problem I could find is a hole in the bottom of the lining. This is a vintage gold tone mesh change purse. The purse has a WHITING & DAVIS, MESH BAGS, MADE IN USA tag on the inside. The change purse has a fold over flap with a snap closure. This is a vintage SAKS FIFTH AVENUE hat. It has the original tag on it. The hat is 1960's mod style or newsboy style. I do not know what the hat is made of but it feels like a silk blend.
