Vintage Japan Christmas Tree Ornament Farmer Boy Sleeping on Straw
Fun vintage Christmas Tree ornament out of a home, still with its original gold colored hang tag that has a folded paper label stating Made in Japan. We believe this vintage Christmas ornament dates Mid Century, from the 1950s/60s based on style and tag, but there is no manufacturer name or age indicated on the piece.
We would call this a Farmer Boy asleep in the hay or straw. The boy's outfit is that of a country lad, with red checked scarf and blue or turquoise flocked outfit with a red check patch on one knee. His eyes are closed as if he were asleep and there is a bundle of fake hay or straw behind his feet at the bottom of the ornament. He is wearing a brown felt hat that also has a red check patch on one side, with blue flocked gloves covering his hands.
Measures about 4 1/2 inches in length x about 2 1/2 inches in width and about 1 3/4 inches in depth. The ornament is lightweight, weighing about 0.65 ounce. This will be shipped in a box for safety.
The boy's body, face and hair appear to be made of molded plastic, with a mold seam visible on the underside of his feet and a mold bump with center hole in the base of one foot (we believe also where the body detached from the mold).
Very nice vintage condition, with light evidence of age and wear, as to be expected. Some wear to the blue turquoise flocking on the back of his outfit and back of his arms with wear to this flocking also on his pants near his feet. Other touches of light wear and fraying at the edges of his outfit. Face in terrific shape with rosy cheeks. Please review all images closely using the zoom feature.

Mid Century Homco Taiwan Christmas Mouse Figure Santa Helper 5405
Neat find out of a home, a china or bisque porcelain (this is translucent) Christmas decor figure. This is a mouse in a Santa suit carrying a bag which we would presume is meant to be full of toys. We would call this a Christmas Mouse who is Santa's helper (or is helping Santa).
Underside base has both a gold foil attached label which states Homco, Made in Taiwan, as well as what we presume to be the manufacturer item number, 5405, with a crossed swords symbol. From these markings we are guessing this was made later mid century, in the 1960s or 1970s, but don't know that for certain.
Stands about 3 3/4 inches tall, about 3 inches wide and about 2 inches in depth. A fun vintage piece for Christmas holiday display, light weight, weighing a bit over 3 ounces unpacked. This will be shipped in a box for safety.
Fully painted in vibrant colors in wonderful, ready to use condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or major flaws. There are a few possible tiny dots of paint wear but nothing bad at all. There is some light age/use wear, with a bit of dirt on his/her bag, particularly on the backside, which you could lightly wash off, but we left as is to not cause paint wear and are selling as is/as found. Vtg Christmas Santa Claus Aluminum Cookie Cutter Green Wood Handle
This is an antique or vintage aluminum cookie cutter with a green wood handle likely from the 1930s or 1940s, although we don't know the age for certain. This is a Christmas cookie cutter or vintage holiday cutter in the shape of Santa Claus carrying his sack or bag of toys on his back. It measures about 3 9/16 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and sits about 1 1/2 inches in height to the top of the wood handle.
While the handle is fully attached to the old cookie cutter and will not come loose, it is not tight and has some "play room". If you shake the cookie cutter holding the handle, the base aluminum portion shakes and can be spun around freely in the air if you push it. The handle does not sit totally straight when viewed from the side, but at a slight angle, due to some denting/pushing in of the aluminum as will be further explained below. The outer edges of this cutter are smooth, they are not ridged or scalloped.
The old cookie cutter came out of a home and is in vintage used shape as it was likely used in a lot of baking cookies. The top aluminum surface is not flat as when it was made, but is lower or pushed in around the handle, causing concave sections to the topside of the head, shoulder and front body portions of this cutter (the denting is most pronounced to the head portion). You can also see the curves when looking from the underside of this piece. This piece sits flat on a table (and does not wobble when placed on a table), with very slight differences in spots as to how flat the cutter lays against the table (ie. a few spots sit higher from the table, but not bad at all). There is a tiny spot on the head where the aluminum lower side edge has been pushed in or pushed up a tad where it meets the table.
The aluminum portion has expected wear from scratches, scuffs, rubbed spots, a few dark dots, perhaps a few tiny pin rust dots, some light spotting, and other signs of wear. The wood handle also shows age/use wear via a vertical paint wear line on one side, paint wear around the base, other dots of paint wear, black dotting/wear on/near the handle top, with other general use wear.
Fun cookie cutter that would make a nice addition to any cookie cutter or baking utensil collection or an overall collection of kitchen utensils with green wood handles. Would also make a nice addition to any grouping of Santa Claus or Christmas collectibles. With the holes in the aluminum top, a crafty person could also string wire and hang this as an ornament on a Christmas tree as a fun addition.

1950s/60s Murano Italian Art Glass Ferro & Lazzarini Angel w/Label
Lovely vintage clear glass standing angel figure or figurine, measuring about 6 5/8 inches in height, about 3 3/16 inches in depth (from front to outer tip of dual wings on backside), and 2 inches in width or diameter of the circular base.
This is a vintage Murano glass or Italian Art Glass piece, still having its original red & gold triangular label attached near the lower side base, which states "Italy Murano Glass" along with the manufacturer name, "Ferro & Lazzarini". There is no other signature marking on the piece.
Neatly shaped old glass angel with a round halo on its head, sculpted hands clasped in the front and 2 separate sculpted wings on the backside, each having 2 points. There are lines/ridges on the hair which looks to be hanging down past the neck of this angel, so we think it is meant to depict a girl or female angel. There are no sculpted facial features (no eyes, nose, mouth or ears). While there are two molded lines on either side of her neck, these do not go vertically down the full piece. There are a number of bubbles in the glass, so perhaps this was blown into a mold of some sort, we can't tell for sure, as well as some light lines in the glass as made.
From the label, look and older home which this came out of, we believe this to be a vintage piece from the 1950s or 1960s. We don't know the age for certain, but we do not believe it to be a new piece. This piece is not flimsy and has some weight to it, weighing over one pound unpacked.
We've provided 8 images to try and show from all angles including two close-ups of the manufacturer label. Please note that the camera lighting creates white highlights or hot spots on the glass. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.
Wonderful overall condition with no major large chips, scratches, pieces missing, but it does show a bit of evidence of age/wear. Along the bottom rim of the piece there are many minor flakes or very very tiny chips from years of sitting and likely picking up, putting down and packing away. None of these are bad and none are noticeable when on display but you can feel these with a finger and see them in person if you look very closely. We do not see any other chips/flakes. Near the angel's neck in front and on one side, there are some lines, straw marks and/or scratches on the top surface of the glass (in roughly 5 small spots). We can't tell if some or all of these were made in the forming of the angel or happened with handling over the years. Since we think someone probably handled/carried this holding the sides near the base, in areas which don't show wear, we suspect these marks were made in forming the neck or separating the piece from a mold or a glass forming tool, but don't know that for certain. You won't notice these when on display, but if you go looking you will see them. These are a few stray scratches from age/wear (nothing bad) and perhaps some other general wear/handling, but really nothing to worry about with this piece.
A great addition to any Murano glass or Italian Art Glass collection, or one related to Ferro & Lazzarini pieces in particular. Also a nice piece to add to any collection of angels or Christmas décor in general.

Vintage Taiwan Christmas Tree Ornament Santa Claus on Skis Skiing
Neat vintage Santa Claus Christmas Tree Ornament out of a home, showing Santa on skis or skiing, with a ski pole in each hand. Has a gold colored foil label on the underside of one ski stating Made in Taiwan. We believe this vintage Christmas ornament dates later Mid Century, from the 1960s/70s based on style and label, but there is no manufacturer name or age indicated on the piece.
Made of wood with a red felt hat having a pipe cleaner trim. The ski poles appear to be a gold colored plastic or coated wire. His face is painted, as is his basic outfit, with what may be cotton applied for his beard. Has its original gold colored string hanging loop.
Measures about 3 1/4 inches in height, about 1 7/8 inches in width and about 2 9/16 inches in depth (the length of the skis). This vintage ornament is lightweight, weighing about .8 ounce unpacked, and will be shipped in a box for safety.
Very nice vintage condition with light general evidence of age/wear, as to be expected. You will note there is excess glue on the backside of his hat, used to glue the triangular part of the hat down, as well as excess glue to attach the pom pom at the end of the pointed hat. We don't know if this is as the ornament was made or a repair made by the former owner, there is an oval brown spot from the ornament perhaps lying on its side as the glue was drying, but don't see this as an issue when hanging on a tree. Santa can be made to stand on a table as you can see in the images, but you need to place him carefully to do this, as he tends to fall over unless stood up in just the right way (he was made to hang on a tree, after all). Fun Vintage Porcelain China Christmas Trinket Box Santa with Tree
Fun small porcelain (this is slightly translucent) or china trinket box for adding to your Christmas holiday display or decor. This is round, in the shape of Santa Claus with him holding a Christmas tree in one hand and his gold colored pipe in the other. Box opens around his belt to show the clean, fully formed top and bottom openings within, and snaps shut with the box on his belt.
There is no manufacturer or country of origin marking on this piece; we don't know if it once had a paper label with that information, as there is no indication of a label. So we can't be certain of the age, but it isn't brand new and are calling it vintage.
Sits about 2 1/4 inches in height, about 2 inches in width and about 1 5/8 inches in depth. Light weight, weighing a bit over 2 ounces unpacked. This will be shipped in a box for safety.
Very nice overall condition, with some spots of paint wear but not bad. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, pieces missing. Vintage Made in U.S.A. Glass Christmas Tree Ornament Red Ball Stars
Vintage glass ball Christmas tree ornament marked on the silver cap "Made in U.S.A." but no specific manufacturer name. This is a lovely traditional deep red colored Christmas ornament ball with a painted white decor on two sides which almost encircles the entire center of the ball, consisting of 5 pointed stars of varied sizes and curved, entwined lines.
This old holiday ornament has a diameter of about 2 1/2 inches and a height of about 3 inches from the bottom of the ball to the top of the flat cap (not including the looped wire hanging ring). Cap with hanging loop are firmly attached for hanging, but you can lift this cap up higher if you choose to look underneath.
We've tried to show all sides in the 8 images. Please note that the camera light causes yellow, orange and white "hot spot" reflections and room reflections on the smooth shiny surfaces. There are no yellow, orange or pink spots on this old ball, or white beyond the decoration. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.
Very nice vintage condition but does show some age/wear/use & storage wear but not bad. You won't see any chips, cracks or pieces missing when hanging on a tree, but if you lift up the hanging cap you will see that the neck of this ornament is not straight but angled/curved under the cap (but the cap fully hides this). The painted white decor shows some touches of wear but not bad overall, with some white paint flaking and unevenness in varied spots. In the decor areas, as with the remainder of the red ball areas, there is some of the usual age/use/surface wear consisting of dots & scratches through the top red coloring showing the silver underneath, rubbed spots, discoloration spots (light and dark), general light spotting/surface wear, etc. Nothing unusual here, usual type wear for vintage ornaments, which adds to the aged look, charm and believeability of age of this piece.

Vintage Hanging Christmas Tree Ornament Figure Mrs. Santa Claus Rubber
Neat find out of a home. This is a vintage Christmas tree ornament figure of what we believe to be Mrs. Claus or Mrs. Santa Claus. She is made of soft rubber (you can squeeze her) with felt and cloth applied to the body for her clothes. There is no manufacturer or country of origin marking on this piece, but our best guess is that this is from the 1950's or 1960's, likely made in Japan, and a mid-century modern ornament. It is definitely an older piece and not new.
This old Mrs. Claus has a wonderful fully formed face with smiling cheeks, blue eyes with dark long lashes, white eyebrows and bangs for her hair, a red smiling mouth and even forehead lines to suggest her age. To us, with her outstretched arms and one foot slightly in the air, we think she is playing, running or even ice skating (although there are no skates on her feet). They have used white pipe cleaners to trim her red hat (which has a small pipe cleaner pom pom at the end), and to suggest the neck and bottom of her dress. The red hat and her red body is all made of a flocked or felt-type material. She is wearing a red checked cloth apron that is tied with a green ribbon with the ribbon ends flowing in the back. She must be wearing red flocking gloves (you don't see her hands) with white trim at her wrists, and her legs/feet are also the red flocking (no visible separate shoes).
Measures about 3 5/8 inches long/tall, with a greatest width of about 2 1/2 inches and depth of about 1 1/2 inches. There is a gold cord looped through a curved wire in her hat for ease in hanging (she cannot stand on her own). She is light in weight, weighing just under 3 1/2 ounces unpacked, and will be shipped in a box for protection.

While appearing in very nice condition overall, please note in the last image that this vintage Mrs. Claus ornament has a small hole in the bottom of one foot. We don't know if this is how she was made or if someone did this later to try and put her on a stand so that she could be displayed upright on a table. Otherwise, we don't see any chips, cracks, crazing or pieces missing. There is a bit of dust on her clothes, occasional spots/wear spots, a bit of red flocking missing in spots, etc., other general light wear. As made, there are touches of dried glue in spots and the white trim around one wrist does not completely encircle that wrist in the back. But nothing bad here at all.

Vintage Mid Century Japan Christmas Ornament Raggety Ann Andy Type
Nifty vintage Christmas Tree ornament out of a home with its original Made in Japan label glued on its backside. We would call this a Raggety Ann or Raggety Andy type ornament from the style, clothing and decoration, most likely a Raggety Andy from the short red hair as seen from the backside. We believe this vintage Christmas ornament dates Mid Century, from the 1950s/60s based on style and label, but there is no manufacturer name or age indicated on the piece.
Measures about 5 1/2 inches length x about 2 1/4 inches width x about 1 1/2 inches depth. This is lightweight and weighs a tad under .5 ounce, but will be shipped in a box for safety.
This appears to be entirely made from cloth type materials, with a harder stuffed fabric type for the head, and he has glued on plastic moveable eyes. The body clothing is of a felt material, with felt also for the black shoes on his feet beneath red and white striped socks. His red shirt has a blue checked patch on one arm, with another patch on his green pants. Raggety Andy's shirt has a white collar with a red string bow tie. This vintage ornament still has its original gold colored cord for hanging.
Very nice vintage condition with some light expected signs of wear. There is a bit of flocking wear on one cheek on his face, with a touch of wear to the round pink circles glued to his cheeks. His red hair appears all there, with a touch out of place but not bad at all. Other perhaps light wear on the clothes, and some bit of fraying at some clothing ends, but nothing bad here at all. 1950s/60s Ninohira Japan Elf Santa Claus Christmas Ornament Figure
Nifty find out of a home. This is a vintage figural Christmas tree hanging ornament which is meant to portray either one of Santa's elves or Santa Claus himself, we are not sure. Body is formed from soft rubber (you can squeeze this), with red felt for his hat that is trimmed in white around the hat base and a white pom pom end, and fake stringy fur for his soft beard. He is shown dressed in a Santa Claus suit which is red with white trim and a black belt, with black boots or shoes and must be wearing red gloves as his hands are red. What is most fun is his wonderful face, fully formed with big ears (or hair over his ears), puffy happy cheeks, a big pointed nose, raised white eyebrows, blue eyes with black centers and a red smiling mouth.
Measures about 4 1/2 inches tall, with greatest width of 2 3/4 inches across his ears and greatest depth of about 1 3/4 inches. There is a long gold plastic cord attached to his hat for hanging on a tree but he can also stand upright on his boots on a table. This old holiday ornament figure is light in weight, weighing about .6 ounce. He will be shipped in a box for protection.
This vintage Santa Claus is marked in two places. On the back of his head is an impressed "JAPAN". On the underside base of one foot is impressed "NINOHIRA JAPAN". From the style and markings we believe this to be a vintage ornament dating from the 1950's or 1960's, a mid-century modern piece, but we don't know that for certain. It is definitely not a new item.

Very nice vintage used condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or large flaws, but this does have an overall old used/aged look as one would expect with some wear/flaws but nothing bad here. His face is a bit dusty/dirty with tiny dirt in the recessed areas as well as either old glue or dirt on his chin right above the beard, and the edge where the beard is glued looks aged/yellowed/slightly brown. The backside of his head where the hat is glued has something similar. There is a bit of dirt/dust in his beard and his felt hat has a touch of wear (nothing bad). On the back of his head on the rubber there is a bit of wear/spotting/rubbed wear, with also a rubbed wear spot on one ear/hair on the side. His clothed rubber body looks good and clean. You might be able to gently clean his face and the dust off with a Q-tip, but we did not want to attempt that and are selling as is/as found.
A great addition for any Christmas tree or a grouping of elves or Santa Claus figures.

Nifty Pair Vintage Wood Taiwan Christmas Tree Ornaments Ice Skaters
Two fun vintage Christmas Tree ornaments out of the same home, being sold as a pair for one price. This is a pair of wood ornaments showing two ice skaters or two people ice skating. They are similar in style and are clearly meant to be a pair, but have differences. They are made with different primary colors (green vs. white), different skate colors (silver vs. gold) and each are carrying a different item in one hand (a yellow star vs. a green Christmas tree).
Each ornament has a gold foil label along their back edge stating Made in Taiwan (please see last two images). We believe these vintage Christmas ornaments date later Mid Century, from the 1960s/70s based on style and label, but there is no manufacturer name or age indicated on the pieces.
These old ornaments each measure about 3 inches long, about 2 inches wide and about 1 1/4 inches in depth. They are each lightweight and together weigh about .7 ounce unpacked. They will be shipped in a box for safety.
In addition to the painted wood decor, each skater has cardboard skates glued/inserted firmly into holes on the underside of their shoes. They each also come with their original gold color hanging loops still attached.
Very nice overall vintage condition, with some evidence of expected age/use wear. With the painted wood, we can see a bit more wear on the white ornament than the green, perhaps due to the lighter color, but not bad. There are some spots on each where the outer paint has been worn, flaked or low chipped along the hands/arms or base of the outfit, with a few other scrapes/wear in the paint. While the skates are firmly attached, on the green skater, one skate is damaged. You can see in the closeup image there is a crease/bend on one silver skate, with that skate also missing the front part of the skate blade piece. However, we missed seeing the missing part until viewing the closeup image, so we don't think this skate flaw will be a noticeable problem when hanging on a tree. Please review all images closely using the zoom feature.

Vintage Wood Taiwan Christmas Tree Ornament Mouse Dressed in Uniform
Fun vintage Christmas Tree ornament out of a home. This is a wood mouse ornament, with the mouse depicted in a uniform of some type, which could be a soldier or hotel employee type uniform, we don't know. The mouse is carrying something draped over one arm (the silver colored cord for this is glued to the arm and firmly attached, although what he/she is carrying is movable if you wish), which could be meant to depict a yellow pail with a red rectangular piece on top.
On the underside base there is an attached gold foil label stating Made in Taiwan. We believe this vintage Christmas ornament dates later Mid Century, from the 1960s/70s based on style and label, but there is no manufacturer name or age indicated on the piece.

Vintage Poland Glass Christmas Tree Ornament Gold Ball Ferns Circles
Vintage glass ball Christmas tree ornament marked on the silver cap "Poland" but no specific manufacturer name. This is a vibrant gold ball ornament which is adorned on four sides with fern leaves and circles. On two sides the ferns are on top with the circles underneath, with this order reversed on the other two sides. Both the ferns and circles are decorated with glitter, white micah on the fern leaves and dark gray on the circles (with the glitter on top of a white or clear glue base).
This old holiday ornament has a length of about 2 1/4 inches from the flat part of the hanging cap (not including the loop) to the ball pontil on the bottom of the ball. The round ball has a width and depth of about 1 3/4 inches. Cap with hanging loop is firmly attached for hanging and can't be pulled up/off but can be moved slightly side to side.
We've tried to show varied sides in the 6 images, including the top and bottom. Please note that the camera light causes white and yellow/orange "hot spot" reflections on the smooth surfaces. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.
Very usable vintage condition but does show a good bit of age/wear/use & storage wear. There are no chips, cracks or pieces missing. However, a good bit of the white micah and dark gray glitter is gone/worn off as often occurs. While the amount varies slightly on each of the four decoration sides, overall less than 50% is still there (please understand that some could come off during shipping as often happens and you may see this when unwrapping the ornament).
On the top perhaps 20% of the ornament, the surface is not the shiny gold color but an orange color (you can see some of this in the images). This does not evenly appear, being an amorphous colored shape. Perhaps something once spilled on this ornament that removed the shiny gold in areas but left an orange base color, we're not sure. There are also a number of similar small orange spots elsewhere. We did not notice this at first and don't think you would notice when hanging on a tree, but you can see this in person if you look for it. This old ornament also has usual wear via some scratches, dots and rubbed spots with scrapes through the gold coloring to show the silver underneath, rubbed spots, other scrapes/spotting/light general surface wear, etc. But all adds to the believeability of age of this piece.

Vintage Jasco Japan Christmas Tree Ornament Lady Bear Bell Ceramic
Fun vintage ceramic or bisque porcelain (this is somewhat translucent) bell Christmas Tree ornament out of a home. This is shaped as a lady bear, dressed as a maid or server with a frilly lace edged apron over her red dress. She is carrying a plate of something in her hands that looks like it has a red cherry on top from the red dot you can see.
On the inside of the lower bell portion is a partially stamped mark in black (it appears only partially visible as originally made). On this you can clearly read most of the letters of the manufacturer name, Jasco, and some of the letters of the country of origin, Japan, but from some internet research, this is the right manufacturer and country. We believe this vintage Christmas ornament dates Mid Century, from the 1950s/60s based on style and Japan origin.
This bell measures about 2 3/4 inches tall x 1 15/16 inches in width/depth (the width to the bell portion). This can be used standing on a shelf as it stands fine (as seen in the images) or hanging on a tree on the still attached original gold colored string cord.
However, as shown in the images, the outside gold colored covering to this hanging string is worn away/missing for about half of the hanging loop as seen above the bear. This loop cord goes through the top of the bear's head to attach to the ceramic ball bell knocker inside the bell (and the bell rings fine). As we've shown in the images, the cord can be fully pulled through the bell in both directions such that the knocker can be pulled outside the bell by the cord and then pulled back inside the bell when the ornament is hung on the tree. You can see along the inner portion of the bell cord that the cord has been knotted in two places, so it is all still fully attached and works fine, but likely the cord was broken at some time in the past. If you wished, you could replace this cord, still using the original knocker, but we are selling this as is/as found.
The remainder of this vintage bisque bell is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks, crazing to the porcelain, with no major evidence of wear. The lace for the apron is not ripped/torn and appears attached as made. You will see in person that this ornament was made with the lace only glued down on one side of the apron, rather than glued down throughout, with just a spot of glue to hold the top of the opposite side in place. Not sure why it was made this way but there is no glue residue on the ceramic (as if one side had come loose) and you won't notice that this isn't fully glued down throughout unless you lift up the lace on the unglued side. Please review all images closely using the zoom feature.

Vintage Red Glass Christmas Tree Ornament Unusual Lantern Shape
Vintage glass Christmas tree ornament that has an unusual shape. This has a large rounded portion with a lower narrower straight section that then angles to the bottom rounded pontil. This may be a different version of the Chinese lantern or Japanese lantern shapes, we're not sure. There are some letters on the silver cap but we can't quite make them out. At best we think this says "Made in U. S. of A." but we are not sure. There is no specific manufacturer name.
This old holiday ornament has a length of about 2 1/4 inches from the flat part of the hanging cap (not including the loop) to the ball pontil on the bottom. The greatest width and depth is to the rounded section at about 1 1/2 inches. Cap with hanging loop is firmly attached for hanging but can be pulled up/out to show glass neck of the ornament.

Very usable vintage condition but does show a good bit of age/wear/use & storage wear. Most notably you can see in the images the scratches/rubbed areas through the red coloring to show the light colored glass underneath on basically all sides. The glass that shows through isn't clear but it also isn't silver as seen on many other ornaments, it's something in between. If you lift the cap on this ornament you can see chipping around the top of the neck, but this is fully hidden by the cap. The cap doesn't sit totally even due to this chipping and there is also rust and other wear to the cap. There are no other chips, cracks or pieces missing. There is also lots of light/medium spotting in the red coloring and darker coloration on the neck and below the neck on this piece (this may be how made with the red color uneven, we don't know, but there is a good bit of this which you can see on close inspection but won't be noticed when hanging on the tree), other general wear, etc. But all adds to the believeability of age of this piece which we think could date to the 1940's or earlier, not sure.
