1941

Unique Vintage Glass Multi-layered Christmas Ornament Diamond Shape Unusual antique or vintage glass Christmas ornament which came out of a home. This consists of a blue glass ball which is within an outer piece that consists of other smaller glass balls and long bumpy glass pieces that are wired together. The overall effect is the look of a double layered glass ornament in a diamond-type or spinning top type shape that is quite striking.

The outer smaller glass balls are gold and turquoise blue in color, with these balls going horizontally around the inner larger turquoise blue ball. Connected to these are the line type bumpy glass silver colored pieces that give an appearance of small silver balls strung together but each individual silver piece is one solid glass piece (not made of individual small silver balls). The wires connect all these pieces together at both the top and bottom of the ornament with part of the top wire also forming a hanging wire for the ornament.

This was definitely put together by hand (not machine) given how all this is wired together (and in one spot you can see a bit of extra twisted vertical wire from how the horizontal string of glass balls was connected). What we don’t know is whether this was handmade by one creative individual on their own for just their own use or whether someone made a lot of these and sold them in a store. We’ve never seen an ornament of this type before, and have never seen these long silver bumpy glass pieces used on ornaments before. To us these line type silver glass pieces seem like something one might see on strings of glass garland, although this isn’t something we often see like this. So this could be an individual intricate all glass ornament that someone made on their own from other Christmas glass ornament or garland pieces, but regardless it has a unique and nifty look.

Measures about 2 inches in height/length and about 2 inches in width/depth. We’ve provided 8 images to try and show from all angles. Please note that the camera lighting creates white "hot spot" reflections on the glass. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely. We do not know the exact age of this piece. From the age wear and types of pieces used (particularly the bumpy silver glass pieces) this looks quite old to us, so we are guessing it dates from mid last century or earlier (1920s-1950s). It is definitely not a new ornament but an old one. While this is a light-weight piece, it will need to be carefully packed in a box for safety in shipping.

Attractive overall vintage condition, but not new and mint looking. There are to chips or cracks or pieces missing in the glass pieces that we can see. However, there is much surface wear or coloring wear to glass, as is common with older ornaments. A lot of the gold outer coloring on the small horizontal glass balls is worn/worn-away. There is similar wear/wear spots and many dots on the inner large blue glass ball, and the small horizontal blue glass balls. There is also a good bit of surface wear on the bumpy silver line glass pieces, with many looking whiter and/or clearer in appearance. We can also see a good bit of wear/rust on the cap on the large blue glass ball. This ornament might continue to flake some surface paint wear and/or rust from the inner ball cap when handling, in storage or during shipment, as we are seeing some very tiny dots or flaking in handling during listing. But we believe all this adds to the believability of age, and would not be noticed when hanging on your Christmas tree.

1880

Vintage Germany Car Mercury Glass Christmas Ornament Wht Mica Glitter Nifty vintage mercury glass Christmas ornament which came out of a home. This is a car which hangs from the rear trunk (perhaps to look like it is driving down a steep hill or mountain?). The car Christmas ornament was made in Germany as indicated by the country name on the gold-colored metal hanging cap, and it looks like a German model car to us, kind of like an elongated Volkswagen Beetle type car (without being an exact Volkswagen Beetle).

Measures about 3 1/4 inches long to the cap, 3 3/4 inches long with the hanging loop, 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches in depth.

This is an all-over painted glass ornament with white mica glitter accents in some spots. The base car is a silvery white color with red paint on the roof and trunk hood, gold paint on the front hood, blue above the 4 wheels and green on the 4 wheels. White mica has been added on top to trim the side windows and door jamb, the back window, and for 3 dots above the two front wheels. There is a slightly raised "S" on the underside of the car.

We've provided 8 images to show from all angles. Please use the zoom feature to examine the images closely. The cap and hanging loop sit tightly and are fine for use. If you lift this up gently there is one spot under the cap which has a curved chip, but nothing bad at all and it is fully covered by the cap so no problem here.

Excellent condition with no chips (beyond the under cap one noted above), cracks, crazing. There may be some minor evidence of age/use/wear but really nothing is jumping out at us here. This likely was hung/used in its former home but it was well taken care of. The white mica glitter looks all there and fine, but as with any item using glitter, it is possible that some will come off in handling and perhaps in shipping as often occurs.

Fully ready to hang on your tree or give as a gift to a car enthusiast.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 1946: Vintage Colombia Glass Christmas Ornament Green Pickle Cucumber

Click for more detail...

1946

Vintage Colombia Glass Christmas Ornament Green Pickle Cucumber Nifty vintage glass Christmas ornament marked Colombia on the gold tone metal cap. In the shape of a pickle or cucumber done in in a bright neon-type medium green color (not a duller, more olive green color like one sees for many pickles in person). This came out of a home and has no other manufacturer marking.

Measures 4 1/4 inches long to the top of the ring on the cap. Slightly curved in shape, this pickle is about 1 1/4 inches wide or deep at any point There are two prominent raised lines along two sides of the ornament, which we believe are glass mold lines. The pickle also has an indented curved line along the backside as part of its shape/molding.

We've provided 5 images to show from varied angles. The camera lighting creates white "hot spots" on the highly reflective surface. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely. We were not able to show the Colombia marking on the topside of the gold cap, but we guarantee it is there and that you can read this in person.

Attractive overall condition with no chips, cracks, pieces missing. This does have surface wear via many spots where the top green paint is worn such that you see spots of the silver base glass coloring, as well as some surface scratches and other general wear. But we don't feel this is bad nor unexpected for an older ornament which was used and enjoyed, and handled many times with packing and unpacking, and don't believe this detracts from the great colorful look.

We are listing many other Christmas ornaments. Should you be interested in more than one listing, please contact us prior to placing the order so that we can provide you with shipping cost savings by packing them in one package. The system will automatically provide shipping costs for each listing as if mailed separately. We would be pleased to calculate and provide the postage savings for you.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 1925: 1950s/60s Murano Italian Art Glass Ferro & Lazzarini Angel w/Label

Click for more detail...

1925

1950s/60s Murano Italian Art Glass Ferro & Lazzarini Angel w/Label Lovely vintage clear glass standing angel figure or figurine, measuring about 6 5/8 inches in height, about 3 3/16 inches in depth (from front to outer tip of dual wings on backside), and 2 inches in width or diameter of the circular base.

This is a vintage Murano glass or Italian Art Glass piece, still having its original red & gold triangular label attached near the lower side base, which states "Italy Murano Glass" along with the manufacturer name, "Ferro & Lazzarini". There is no other signature marking on the piece.

Neatly shaped old glass angel with a round halo on its head, sculpted hands clasped in the front and 2 separate sculpted wings on the backside, each having 2 points. There are lines/ridges on the hair which looks to be hanging down past the neck of this angel, so we think it is meant to depict a girl or female angel. There are no sculpted facial features (no eyes, nose, mouth or ears). While there are two molded lines on either side of her neck, these do not go vertically down the full piece. There are a number of bubbles in the glass, so perhaps this was blown into a mold of some sort, we can't tell for sure, as well as some light lines in the glass as made.

From the label, look and older home which this came out of, we believe this to be a vintage piece from the 1950s or 1960s. We don't know the age for certain, but we do not believe it to be a new piece. This piece is not flimsy and has some weight to it, weighing over one pound unpacked.

We've provided 8 images to try and show from all angles including two close-ups of the manufacturer label. Please note that the camera lighting creates white highlights or hot spots on the glass. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.

Wonderful overall condition with no major large chips, scratches, pieces missing, but it does show a bit of evidence of age/wear. Along the bottom rim of the piece there are many minor flakes or very very tiny chips from years of sitting and likely picking up, putting down and packing away. None of these are bad and none are noticeable when on display but you can feel these with a finger and see them in person if you look very closely. We do not see any other chips/flakes. Near the angel's neck in front and on one side, there are some lines, straw marks and/or scratches on the top surface of the glass (in roughly 5 small spots). We can't tell if some or all of these were made in the forming of the angel or happened with handling over the years. Since we think someone probably handled/carried this holding the sides near the base, in areas which don't show wear, we suspect these marks were made in forming the neck or separating the piece from a mold or a glass forming tool, but don't know that for certain. You won't notice these when on display, but if you go looking you will see them. These are a few stray scratches from age/wear (nothing bad) and perhaps some other general wear/handling, but really nothing to worry about with this piece.

A great addition to any Murano glass or Italian Art Glass collection, or one related to Ferro & Lazzarini pieces in particular. Also a nice piece to add to any collection of angels or Christmas décor in general.

Click for more detail...

1842

Nifty Vintage Wood Christmas Ornament Rocking Horse w/Great Face Ears An adorable vintage wood Christmas ornament which came out of a home. This is a wood rocking horse with wonderful large upstretched ears, terrific painted eyes, face, and other detail including a red saddle and bridle, a red bow and wood bells around his neck, and wearing a red, green & white felt holiday hat. When standing he/she does rock a bit on his curved bottom pieces (not smoothly, though). There is a gold tone hanging loop firmly glued to his back.

There is no manufacturer or country of origin marking on this older piece. It looks to us like an artist made piece like you might buy at a craft fair but we don't know for certain that is what this is. Stands about 4 1/2 inches tall, 3 1/8 inches greatest width at the base and 1 1/2 inches in depth.

We've provided 7 images to show from all angles. The camera lighting does create some white "hot spots" from reflecting. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, pieces missing. The ends of the red ribbon bow around his/her neck are all frayed (this could be as made but we don't know). All paint looks to be in very good shape. There is nothing to worry about here.

We are listing many other Christmas ornaments. Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 1885: Vintage West Germany Mercury Glass Christmas Ornament Boot Shoe

Click for more detail...

1885

Vintage West Germany Mercury Glass Christmas Ornament Boot Shoe Nifty vintage mercury glass Christmas ornament which came out of a home. This is a boot or shoe which, from the style, could be meant to be one of Santa's boots (or a boot belonging to Santa Claus). The old Christmas ornament was made in West Germany as indicated by the country name on the silver-colored metal hanging cap.

Measures about 2 7/84 inches high to the cap, 3 3/8 inches high with the hanging loop, 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches in depth.

This is an all-over painted glass ornament with molding to simulate fur along the top of the boot. The base shoe color is a silvery white as shown on the top and bottom sides, with a metallic red for the basic boot color. On one side the boot has been adorned with some green leaf holly having red berries.

We've provided 8 images to show from all angles. One image has been shot without the camera lighting to help in seeing some of the details. Please use the zoom feature to examine the images closely. The cap and hanging loop sit tightly and are fine for use. If you lift this up gently the top rim of the neck glass is not smooth across, perhaps this is some slight chipping, but it also may be as made, and the cap fully covers all this so no problem here.

Excellent condition with no chips (beyond the under cap note above), cracks, crazing. There is minor expected age/use/storage wear via tiny scratches, some spots where you can see the silver mercury glass from some tiny paint wear, spots/dots/wear spots/tiny dark lines, etc., but nothing really bad and nothing unexpected for an old ornament which was used and enjoyed. Ready to hang and add sparkle and color to your Christmas tree.

We are listing many other Christmas ornaments. Click for more detail...

1943

Vintage Holiday Polar Bear Mercury Glass Christmas Ornament Red Coat Nifty vintage mercury glass Christmas ornament which came out of a home. This is a standing white polar bear dressed for the holidays, with his red stocking hat and red coat, green scarf and a turquoise blue large bow or shirt, we can't tell for sure. He is leaning on something golden with polka dots, which may be a large present wrapped with a blue ribbon. There is no indication of manufacturer or country of origin on the bright gold metal cap. Comes with original gold hanging cord.

Measures about 3 1/2 inches long to the cap, 1 3/4 inches wide and 2 inches in depth. This is an all-over painted glass ornament with a frosty white/silverish paint used for the base/body and black for his eyes, nose & mouth. There is also some glittery mica trim on the base of his cap, the ball at the end of the cap, and around the front side bottom of his coat.

We've provided 5 images to show from varied angles. Please use the zoom feature to examine the images closely.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing. There are some touches of paint wear on the backside of his red coat but nothing bad. The gold metal cap appears to fit tightly and can't be lifted up. There may be other minor evidence of use/age/storage wear as expected of an item that was used/hung on a tree, but nothing bad that jumps out at us. This polar bear is in great shape and ready to hang on your tree.

We are listing many other Christmas ornaments. Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 1834: Vintage Impuls Poland Glass Christmas Ornament Gold Glitter w/Box

Click for more detail...

1834

Vintage Impuls Poland Glass Christmas Ornament Gold Glitter w/Box Lovely vintage glass Christmas ornament that came out of a home with its original box. Marked Poland on ornament cap and on box with bottom of box also stating "Traditional Glass Christmas Ornaments Manufactured by Impuls (manufacturer name does not appear on ornament itself).

The egg-shaped glass ornament is a two tone gold in color or perhaps a gold and light copper in color, with a gold petal design at the top and bottom while the central color is a more reddish gold or light copper. This is augmented with silver and gold-colored glitter in lines and some curlicues. Overall a shimmery look which would look stunning along with lights on a holiday tree.

This older ornament measures about 3 1/4 inches in length without the cap and hanging loop, about 4 inches length with the cap and loop, and about 2 1/2 inches greatest width. The cap and hanging loop are firmly attached and in good shape. We've provided 8 images to show the ornament and box from varied angles. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely. The camera lighting creates white "hot spot" reflections on the shiny ornament surface.

The vintage Christmas ornament is in wonderful used condition, no chips, cracks, pieces missing. As an older ornament that was used/hung on a Christmas tree and handled, it is not mint but there really isn't anything to worry about here. There is surface age/use/wear via some dirt spots/rubbed spots/dots/wear lines mainly noted on the gold petals since the shimmery center portion already has a dotted look that hides wear rather than the flat painted look of the petals (but these painted petals are not missing any paint). The silver and gold glitter seems to be in great shape with no areas where it seems to have worn off/worn away, but as with any glittered ornament, you will have some glitter coming off as you handle/use it and possibly in shipping. The paperboard box does not have any tears/rips/pieces missing but it does show its age. You can see in the images the paper tear area on the lid and the creasing/folds to the top inner flap that goes inside the box. What you may not be able to see is that there is also a large paper tear on the underside of the box where this probably had a large inventory/price label removed, overall age spotting on the clear cellophane type side panels, and other general spotting/wear to the box (we're sorry we couldn't show all this but we are limited to 8 images and felt showing more of the ornament was the priority).

1947

Vintage Clear Glass Berry Christmas Ornament, Worn Red Paint, Pontil This is a very old thin walled clear glass Christmas ornament. In has a clear rounded pontil dot on the bottom, so we believe it to be hand blown, perhaps into a mold, but we don't see any mold lines. The glass is formed into a bumpy rounded shape so we believe this was meant to be reminiscent of a berry of some sort (it could be meant to be a nut, but with the red paint we mention below, it seems more likely to us that this would be a berry).

The ornament has a slightly elongated thin neck. There is no top cap, just an old metal hanger inserted into the top. We don't know if this originally had a top cap or not, this is how we got it out of an older home. The glass at the top rim is not chipped, so if it once had a cap, it does not appear to have lost it due to breakage. The hanger holds firmly to the glass so it is good for hanging.

As you can see in the six images, originally this berry was painted red, but most of the red paint is long gone, with just enough left to suggest what was there and give this that neat aged look (think shabby chic). This may have once had other colored paint, as there are browner paint remains on the rest of the ornament.

Measures just under 2 inches in length to top of curved metal hanger, about 1 1/4 inches in width and depth. While overall round, this is not perfectly round as made, with a slant to one bottom side edge.

From the size, thin walled glass, paint condition and overall style, our guess would be this ornament dates to the 1920s period, however we can't guarantee that. There is no manufacturer or country of origin marking on this ornament.

There are no chips, cracks, pieces missing, with the paint condition mentioned above and the lack of a topside cap being the main condition issues. But we think this all adds to the believability of age here, and it is becoming harder to find older ornaments of this type. Please use the zoom feature to examine the images closely.

Click for more detail...

1839

Vintage Taiwan Wood Christmas Ornament, Boy with Wreath Adorable vintage wood Christmas ornament marked made in Taiwan which came out of a home. This a figure of a young boy carrying a Christmas wreath (made of a green pipe cleaner and red felt bow). The boy is dressed in a light blue outfit with red dots, a blue striped sailor-type hat, white knee socks and black shoes. There is a gold-colored label glued on the backside of the figure which states, "Made in Taiwan" but there is no indicator of manufacturer.

The older figure, which can't stand on its own due to the boy having one foot in the air as if he is walking, is about 3 1/4 inches long, about 1 3/8 inches greatest width and 1 1/4 inches greatest depth. A gold colored hanging loop is firmly glued to his hat. We've provided 7 images to show from different angles. The camera lighting creates white "hot spots" on the reflective painted surfaces so some images are shot without the lighting. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, pieces missing. While this was likely hung on the former owner's Christmas trees, there isn't any major wear here. We see a touch of paint wear around the edges of the black shoes but nothing bad. We also see some made in manufacture things, such as a tiny chip on the hat brim edge that was painted over with the light blue paint as made, and open spaces around the leg joints where some of the blue paint was dripped into some areas and not into others as made....but this is picking here and not things done to the ornament from use. This is in great condition and ready to hang on your Christmas tree.

Click for more detail...

1945

Nifty Vintage Mercury Glass Christmas Ornament Red Train Engine Nifty vintage mercury glass Christmas ornament which came out of a home. This is the engine or first car of an old-time steam train. There is no indication of manufacturer or country of origin on the bright gold metal cap, which also has hanging near it a gold metal piece in the shape of an old-time 1930s radio, so perhaps this is a specialized tag for a specific manufacturer.

Measures about 3 inches high to the top of the hanging metal loop, 2 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches in depth. This is an all-over painted glass ornament. It is a bright shiny red train engine, with black & silver for the wheels, gold & silver for the front "cow nudger" triangular part, black for the top steam pipe and green for the roof on the train car. There is gold glitter decoration on the train as well as white paint with white mica glitter for the steam coming out of the pipe and across the top of the train.

We've provided 3 images to show from varied angles. Please use the zoom feature to examine the images closely.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing. On the underside there is a touch of paint wear showing dots of the base silver glass as well as other very minor wear. There are other pin dots of silver which can be seen among the red paint, but no significant paint wear. The gold metal cap appears to fit tightly and can't be lifted up. There may be other minor evidence of use/age/storage wear as expected of an item that was used/hung on a tree, but nothing bad that jumps out at us. This train engine ornament is in great shape and ready to hang on your tree.

Click for more detail...

1949

6 Vintage U.S.A. Glass Christmas Balls, Multi-Color, Glitter, Hearts A nice grouping of 6 vintage glass Christmas ball ornaments, all marked on their silver caps, Made in U.S.A. There are 3 blue glass balls, 1 olive green ball and 2 yellow balls. All have a white paint décor with attached multi-color glitter.

On the 3 blue and 1 green balls, the design has alternating hearts placed right side up and upside down, along with straight and curved lines. On the 2 yellow balls the design is of a 6 petal flower. All have a similar style and look, so we know they would have been made by the same manufacturer, although we don't know which one, and they work together as a set. They all came out of the same older home.

What's interesting is that on all the ornaments the horizontal design stops short of fully encircling the ball. As made, on each ball, there is an about 1 inch space on one side that does not show the white and glitter design. We don't know why these would have been made this way, this is not an area where the design has been worn away over time. Perhaps how these balls were manufactured the machinery did not permit continuing the design fully around the ball, we don't know.

These round glass ornaments measure about 2 1/8 inches in diameter, and about 3 inches to the top of the hanging metal loop on the cap. We've provided 5 images to show from varied sides, and you can see the spaces where there is no design. One image shows a close-up of the USA marking on the cap. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely. Also, please note that the box used for photographing these ornaments was used for ease of display only and is not included with this sale.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, pieces missing. There is expe4cted age, use, handling, storage wear on these balls. While none of the design is missing, there is much surface wear in the form of scratches, rubbed spots, some discoloration or extra paint/glitter, other general wear, with this varying by ball. All the caps sit fine and firmly for hanging, some can be lifted up and some can not. In the case of one which we can lift we can see the top glass is chipped under the cap, but this is fully covered by the cap. Nothing unusual here, usual type wear for vintage ornaments, which adds to their aged look and charm.

Click for more detail...

1955

Pair Vintage U.S.A. Glass Christmas Balls Pink White Mica Floral A neat matching pair of vintage glass Christmas ball ornaments, both marked on their silver caps, Made in U.S.A. These are pink glass with a white paint décor with attached mica glitter that comes across to us like a fabric type look. The white pattern is of large flowers and leaves.

These round glass ornaments came out of the same home. They measure about 2 1/8 inches in width and about 2 1/2 inches in height to the top of the silver cap but not including the hanging loop. There is no indication of manufacturer beyond the U.S.A. marking. The cap can be lifted up only a slight bit on one ornament and not at all on the other, so these caps are firmly attached for hanging.

What's interesting is that on both ornaments the horizontal design stops short of fully encircling the ball. As made, on each ball, there is an about 1 inch space on one side that does not show the white design. We don't know why these would have been made this way, this is not an area where the design has been worn away over time. Perhaps how these balls were manufactured the machinery did not permit continuing the design fully around the ball, we don't know.

We've provided 5 images to show from varied sides, and you can see the space where there is no design. One image shows a close-up of the USA marking on the cap. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely. Also, please note that the box used for photographing these ornaments was used for ease of display only and is not included with this sale.

While very attractive and very usable, these vintage balls do show their age via a good bit of use/storage wear. As you can see in the images, probably up to 1/2 of the white mica on top of the white paint has worn off over time, with this wearing off some of the paint, too, in some spots, so you can see the glass underneath within some of these flowers. This varies over the ornaments, so you could position these on the tree to show less of the wear if desired. There are no cracks in the glass or glass pieces missing. We do see a good bit of expected surface wear on the glass with many scratches, lines, discoloration spots, crazing type surface lines, etc. On one ornament you can also see a triangular piece of extra glass attached on the inside of the ornament near one of the white flowers as made in manufacture. Certainly not new and mint looking, but we believe this all adds to believability of age and their charm.

Click for more detail...

1841

Vintage Taiwan Kurt Adler Wood Ornament Child Toys in Tree w/Star B Fun vintage wood ornament marked Made in Taiwan by Kurt S. Adler, Inc. We believe this older ornament is meant to be reminiscent of children and child toys showing multiple kids items within a triangular shape that we think represents a tree (with a geometric stump underneath), that is topped with a bright yellow star. We actually have 2 of these ornaments which look very similar but have a few minor differences so we are listing them separately as "A" and "B". The toys shown include a blue and white ball with a star on it (ball at a different angle than "A" version), a teddy bear, a set of stacking rings, 3 A/B/C letter blocks, a bird with his mouth open singing (this is different from "A" version, here the bird's head is at a different angle and it looks like the points on the beaks are broken off but we think this is how this ornament was sold rather than the beaks breaking off later since there isn't any other damage to the bird's head, you have to look really closely to even notice this and we don't think anyone else would see it at all), and a silver colored cup or mug.

Measures about 4 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 5/8 inch in depth. There is a red hanging string which goes through a tiny hole in the star as made. There is a white label on the backside which reads "Made in Taiwan for Kurt S. Adler Inc., New York, N.Y. 10010 USA". We've provided 3 images including a close-up of the label. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.

This came out of a home but is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, pieces missing (outside the beak comment made earlier). All pieces are firmly glued in place but, as made, there is a lot of extra glue/blobs of glue that was used to put this together, with extra glue drips on the piece (a little extra glue is visible on the backside). We also note that as made, the stump to the tree on the bottom was glued on at an angle rather than straight across. There are a few spots of scuffing on the wood which may be a touch of wear but nothing bad at all here.

We are listing many other Christmas ornaments. Click for more detail...

1838

San Francisco Cable Car Christmas Ornament 39 Powell & Hyde Streets A fun San Francisco cable car Christmas ornament. The cable car is labelled on both sides "Powell & Hyde Sts. (Streets)" along with "39 Cable Car" with "SF" in a heart. On both ends are identical stickers which state "Powell Market and Hyde St., 39, Meet Me at the St. Francis". What is particularly neat is that this plastic cable car ornament is fully 3 dimensional and has 8 plastic figures riding inside the car, one as the Conductor standing and guiding the car from one end and then 7 passengers sitting on various benches spread out throughout the vehicle.

The cable car ornament measures about 3 inches long x 1 1/8 inches wide and stands 2 inches tall. On top of the cable car attached to the metal hanging loop with a small wire, there is a red bow trimmed in gold thread with a metal bell with ringer (it makes a small noise when the car is shaken but not a true bell noise). There is also the original gold-tone twisted hanging loop. On the underside the vehicle has 8 wheels on which it stands and it can be rolled on these wheels easily. This is not an old ornament, as it has in raised letters in two places, on one side and on the underside, the copyright symbol followed by what we believe is the manufacturer, TTCO.SNCO, and the year, 2001.

We've provided 8 images to try and show from all angles including some close-ups of the figures riding within the cable car. The camera lighting does create white "hot spots". Please use the zoom feature to fully examine.

Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, broken pieces, major flaws. This ornament came out of a home and was likely used so it probably does have some minor use/wear flaws, but nothing is jumping out at us here, so there is nothing to worry about.
