Dark Yellow Swirled Lucite Cuff Bracelet This vintage C-shape 5/8" wide Lucite cuff bracelet is a dark yellow, apple juice color. It's slightly marbled with swirls of pale green and reddish amber coloring, some areas are almost transparent. The interior is 2-3/8" long by 2 inches wide, the exterior measures about 3 by 2-1/2 inches. There's an incised mark inside, like a broken ring or circle - see last picture. The bracelet is in excellent condition.

Click for more detail...

14910

Large Vintage Jewelry Chest Soapstone Asian Figures This beautiful vintage wood jewelry chest has lacquered top and door panels with gold gilt Asian landscape decoration and carved soapstone man and woman figures. The chest is 11 inches high, 15-1/2 inches long, and 10" deep front to back. Under the lid is a carved rail shelf, behind which is a red velour-lined 8-section jewelry storage area including two padded ring holders. The lid has a mirror at the center with ruffled pockets and necklace hooks at either side. Below the shelf are four roomy 7 by 9 by 1-1/2 inch drawers.

The box has engraved brass hardware - side handles, hinges, and clasp. There's a brass box lock with no key. The little nails or brads of the lower clasp back have been removed to enable opening of the doors in front (they were saved in one of the drawers). I purchased a similar brass latch in the exact same size as the original (last photo), but the lower half needs to be cut into two pieces for the doors. The new latch will be included with shipment. Even better of course is if you have or can find a key to the lock. There are some small scuffs and nicks to the wood. There are no marks as to maker or origin, but the chest was likely made in Mid Century China. The cup in one of the photos isn't random, it's to give an idea of the size.

15927

Picture Agate Brooch Scenic Mountain Landscape A lovely vintage picture agate pin or brooch, made in Western Germany in the late 1940s. The oval agate cabochon was expertly cut and polished to resemble a landscape scene of rugged mountain peaks topped with gold pyrite, then mounted in a goldtone stamped brass frame setting. The brooch is relatively large, measuring 2 inches high by just under 1-3/4" wide. The back is marked Western German. The agate stone is perfect with no chips or scratches. The setting is missing one of the little claw prongs, but the stone remains secure.

16208

Dramatic Green Blue Rhinestone Big Peacock Brooch Pendant Pin This gorgeous vintage goldtone peacock brooch is packed with well over 200 faceted turquoise, blue, and green crystal rhinestones. I tried to count them but kept losing track. It's quite large at about 4-1/2 inches at the widest point by 3 inches high.

The tail has more than 40 rivoli stones in two sizes, as well as many more tiny faceted rounds. The peacock's body is studded with tiny bright turquoise tiny stones, and a few larger black stones for the head crest. There is a pendant loop at the base of the peacock's head on back. The pin is unsigned. Condition is perfect - no missing or damaged stones, no scratches or signs of wear.

9898

Turquoise Rhinestone Comet Brooch and Earrings A lovely vintage turquoise blue rhinestone pin or brooch with matching screw-back earrings. The brooch is a stylized shooting star or comet shape, 1-1/2" long. A circle of tiny clear rhinestones surround the round blue faceted rhinestone at one end - the arched and fanned tail consists of prong-set square, marquise, and pear shape faceted blue stones. It is unmarked and in good vintage condition though it probably needs to be cleaned.

The matching earrings each have 3 pear or teardrop shape rhinestones as the comet tails. They need cleaning as well. The smallest end pear shape stone in each earring is slightly darkened.

Click for more detail...

15641

Carved Cork Jewelry or Keepsake Box Landscape Scenes This vintage jewelry or keepsake box has no label or markings, but it was no doubt made in China in the 1940s or 1950s. It's made entirely of carved cork and glass with the exception of the decorative bamboo ring and lid handle, and the brown rayon interior trim.

A cork clipper ship under glass decorates the lid center. Upon lifting the lid, you'll find a larger landscape scene in cork with a sailboat, trees, islands, beaches, and more. The entire interior is lined in glass. The box measures 5 by 7-3/4 by about 3 inches high. It's in excellent vintage condition with no stains or damage.

The goldtone deer has faceted deep royal blue marquise rhinestones and small round clear stones decorating the long flowing antlers. The deer itself has tiny clear pave rhinestones with a tiny blue rhinestone eye. The lovely brooch is in excellent condition with no damage, and no darkened, discolored, or missing stones. There's a mark at the back of the deer's hind leg that resembles a signature - if so I can't make it out.

9448

Beautiful Blue Rhinestone and Moonglow Necklace Earrings Set Fabulous demi parure chained rhinestone and blue moonglow or moonstone glass choker necklace and earring set. The baby blue rhinestone chain encircles four flat-backed round glass blue prong-set moonglow cabochons or stones with a larger navette stone at the center. The necklace is about 16 inches long.

The matching screw-back earrings feature slightly smaller navette blue moonstone cabs fully surrounded by blue prong-set rhinestones with a larger rhinestone at the top of the teardrop. I don't see any marks on the earrings or necklace, other than the letter C embossed on the round tops of the earring post. The photo of the back of the necklace makes it look like the silvertone finish is worn but it is not - it's just shadows or glare in the picture. There are no missing or damaged stones, the set in wonderful vintage condition with no issues.

15919

Siam Silver Metal Link Belt With Buckle 32 Inches This type of vintage silver belt was made in Southeast Asia from the 1930s through 1970s and is usually referred to as Siam Silver. The back of the buckle has an unreadable mark or logo and a stamped hallmark (last photo). The belt could be anything from 800 silver to sterling but it's definitely not plated.

The belt is 32 inches long by about 1-1/4" wide and has 24 S-scroll panel links, plus the ornate engraved oval buckle. In excellent condition with no damage. The belt is cleaner and shinier than my photos indicate due to poor lighting the stormy day I took the pictures.
