What a beauty.....creamy ivory with alot of super gold decoration. Add a touch of class to your table with this lovely Hall PARADE teapot from the 1930's. Versatile 6 cup size. This style also features a hook cover so lid won't slip when you pour. Be aware there are two small nicks under the spout. Luckily they do not affect the appearance.

100% complete is this Hall coffee pot called Big Boy (for obvious reasons) it also has the pseudonym of BARON, for not so obvious reasons. This dripolater model is in perfect condition with all of the working parts intact. Very hefty, holds 12 cups. Maroon with silver (platinum) trim. No chips or cracks. This will cost a bit to ship because it is so weighty...but you won't regret it.

Georgeous rich color with crisp gold decor. This Hall ALBANY teapot dates from the late 30's. This is a 6 cup teapot that displays beautifully. However, we do have a small spout nick and a small nick on the inside of the lid...neither visible. Still an eye-catching piece which we have priced accordingly.

2827

The influence of modernism is clearly seen in this graceful teapot from Hall China's Gold Line. This particular one is peculiar because both it's shape and it's gold decoration are named "STAR". The design is $0740 and dates to 1940. Ours is in fine condition, no chips cracks, just some wear to the gold at the handle.

3137

Tea for Two anytime with this pretty little Hall teapot in their NEW YORK.shape and CADET BLUE color decorated with gold blossoms that look like trilliums. Marked HALL with the #29 onthe bottom. Externally it is perfect, no chips on the spout where you usually encounter the wear, but, there is a chip out of the interior, non-glazed base of the cover. Does not affect its usability and certainly doesn't show when on display. Our price takes this into consideration.

Click for more detail...

1354

No one would guess that this elegant bird was a shaker if you did not see the holes in his head. He is more akin to a porcelain figurine than a piece of tableware. He is heavily covered in 22kt gold( as his still intact label reads) and is 6" long from beak to tail.. No clue who made him or how old he may be. He is just a neat piece. We generally ship to domestic customers by Priority Mail, so buyer will add $3.50 plus $1.10 insurance.

Click for more detail...

1980

If you are a collector of vintage Paden City China, you need to look at this piece. I think it may be a factory reject or a piece of errata. The shape is Regina, but the pattern, which almost looks like a piece of lace traced on the edges, cannot be found anywhere. In addition, the pattern is applied in a most haphazard way, giving it a great SHABBY CHIC look for today's collector. Plate is 10" square, and marked Paden City Potteries on the rear.

Click for more detail...

2244

Very pretty little dish that appears to be Hand painted with a stagecoach scene depicting disembarking passengers in front of a tavern or hostelry called THE SWAN. The dish is not marked in any way, but the shape along with the embossed rim with fruits is from the Crooksville China Co. It is not a saucer or butter pat, perhaps just a little waste dish or tray of some sort. There are no cracks chips or flakes in this nice little piece.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 1690: JOHNSON BROS 5 PIECE BREAKFAST SET (circa 190

Click for more detail...

1690

This is a great breakfast set decorated with a lovely Lily of the Valley design made in England by Johnson Brothers. It is marked “Old English” which refers to the nice ruffled edge pattern of the china rather than the name of the decoration and the “B” mark indicates it is from the Bursalem factory dating the set to around 1900. It consists of a 4 3/4” high, 2 1/2c teapot with lipped lid, a 8” plate with 5 7/8” x 2 3/4” domed cover with knob and a 4 1/2” high double egg cup with 3” and 2” diameter ends. The teapot’s ruffled rim, the lid’s lip and ruffled edge, the plate and the domed cover are perfect. To prevent any disappointments, we do need to identify the following areas of wear: use wear to the plates’ center decoration; the teapot has a very small nick on the bottom of the spout and a hairline (that does not leak) at the base; the egg cup has three 1/8” to 1/4” hairlines and four small nicks in the larger ruffled rim. Even so, we still consider the condition to be very good, and very useable. We have never seen this Lily of the Valley, or the domed plate in any other Johnson Brothers patterns, so they must be pretty unusual.
