crowley12

Crowley's Half Pint Cream Bottle This Crowley's half pint dairy bottle is marked: Crowley's 1/2 pt. / L10 / 3600 / 21 Rec. Sealed / #11 / E50.
Crowley Foods was founded in 1904 by grocery clerk James K.Crowley when he purchased a fledgling dairy business for $500.00 in Poughkeepsie, New York. His company assets began with a horse and wagon, ice house, barn, some cans and bottles as well as a milk delivery route serving local customers. In 1915, Crowley moved and expanded his business at Binghamton as the location was closer to numerous dairy farms in upstate New York. Originally known as Crowley's Dairy Company, manufacturing and distribution of dairy products began at the facility on Conklin Avenue and would continue there for almost 100 years. A second plant opened at Newburgh, New York in 1921. Retail outlets and other production facilities soon followed. At its peak, Crowley's Dairy Company sold their products throughout much of the northeastern United States.
The red lettering is gone which I have shown in my pictures.

Vintage Clear Kitchen Glasses This set of 6 old glasses reminded me of the original shape of the coke glasses from years ago in the soda shops. These are not and are much smaller of course but still a desirable collectible all the same.
They do have a mark on the bottom of the glasses but it is unfamiliar to me, there are 2 joined circles with what looks like 2 arrows joined into one with a slight bend to it. If anyone knows this mark I would appreciate an email.

NFL St Louis Cardinals Glasses-Set of 4 This set of 4 collectible NFL St Louis Cardinals drinking glasses were gas station give-a-ways in the 1970's.
The team was established in Chicago in 1898 and was a charter member of the NFL in 1920. Along with the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears, the club is one of three franchises still in operation since the league's founding. The club moved to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1960 and played in that city through 1987 (sometimes referred to as the football Cardinals, Big Red, Gridbirds or Cardiac Cards to avoid confusion with the baseball St. Louis Cardinals).
Before the 1988 NFL season, the team moved to Tempe, Arizona, an eastern suburb of Phoenix, and played their home games for the next 18 years at Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium.
Made of a smoke colored glass with the team insignia on 1 side and the NFL on the other in white, they have no makers mark.
