1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas 1 can bean sprouts 1 sm. can water chestnuts, sliced 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms 1 1/2 can mushroom soup 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 can French fried onions
Drain all vegetables and mix together with soup. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Put fried onions on top and bake 10 minutes more. Nancy Wilkes, Winnsboro, SC

PEAS WITH MUSHROOMS
2 C sliced fresh mushrooms 1/2 C chopped onion 2 T butter 32 oz frozen peas -- thawed 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts -- drained and halved 1/4 C soy sauce
Directions: In a large saucepan, saute mushrooms & onion in butter. Add peas, water chestnuts and soy sauce. Cook until heated through, about 10 mins. Serves 8

I thought this was such an unusual recipe that I did a search on the web and Lo' & Behold, I actually found a recipe from a website called "The Practical Pantry", that

SOY-SAUCED PEAS
1 medium onion, chopped 2 4-ounce cans mushroom pieces and stems, drained 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 2 16-ounce packages frozen peas, thawed 1 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained and halved 3 tablespoons soy sauce
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until onion softens, about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, peas, water chestnuts and soy sauce.
