This super easy recipe comes from a neighbor and it is so yummy and
delicious, everyone comes back for more! It is a bit sweet and kid-friendly
but certainly could be made more spicy!

1 pound ground beef
½ cup or more chopped Vidalia or white onion
1 BIG (14-16oz.) can diced tomatoes (my kids prefer petite diced!) Do not
drain.
1 small can mild green chilies (optional)
1 packet chili seasoning or use your own blend of cumin, chili powder,
garlic and oregano
1 BIG (14-16oz.) can BAKED kidney beans..this is the secret to this
recipe...find these in the baked bean section of your store. Do not drain.

Optional: Sour cream, chopped onions, grated cheese

Directions: Begin browning meat in large pan. Add onions after about 5
minutes. Cook meat until no longer pink, drain. Add tomatoes, chilies,
chili seasoning, and baked beans and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Will keep
simmering stovetop or in crockpot for hours. Serve with bowls of sour
cream, onion, and grated cheese for guests to top themselves. Enjoy!!
