Good heavy piece of vintage Hotel Silverplate from the most famous of them all, THE WALDORF ASTORIA. I believe this to be an olive or radish tray. It measures 8 1/2 x 4 at the widest part. Rear is fully marked THE WALDORF ASTORIA, INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. #05038 8 1/2 IN (67). Lovely soft patina from having served at so many tables over the years. It has a bit of a deco look to it so it may be from the 20's or 30's. We generally ship to domestic customers by USPS Priority Mail, so buyer will add $3.95 plus any applicable insurance. |
