I purchased this brooch in England a number of years ago, it is a superb shell cameo of a ladies head and shoulders, bezel set in Sterling Silver, with a European safety chain attached to the pin with a link on the back. The brooch is marked Silver, and it is 3 inches wide. The actual cameo is 7/8 of an inch long, and 3/4 of an inch wide. The brooch is lovely, and has a hook clasp.
